Mantra for the complete purification of all sins of body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas. Pāpaṃ biśodhani. Śuddha biśuddhe. Sarva karma āvaraṇa biśuddhe svāhā. (Tibetan) For all of these, this mantra is recited for the previous deeds. By the samaya of Shakya Simha, these mudras are explained. In the center, the best of samadhi, residing is explained as the samaya mudra. Making the vajra binding as the samaya, join the tips of the two middle fingers. The vajra mudra is made as the samaya, it is the vajra crown mudra. The same middle finger is like a jewel, and the middle finger is like a lotus, and from the same middle finger, the remaining fingers are made to blaze. On the same blazing fingers, is the crown of glory mudra. From that, the ring finger and the little finger are held together equally. Lowering that in front, and placing that in front, make it like a vajra net. In the application of the samaya mudra, place the vajra of the mind at the heart. In secret, in the center of the lotus moon, contemplate the dharma mudra in its entirety. The mantras that were previously explained to be uttered, are explained to be the dharma mudra. At the heart, a variegated vajra, thinking of it, establish the karma mudra. The dharma wheel as it was explained, is the mudra of the king of the Shakyas. Earth pressing, bestowing supreme, samadhi, and fearlessness, bestowing, etc., apply them in order. Residing in the best of samadhi, is the mudra of the heap of glory. Raise the right forearm as a staff, brandishing a sword, and the left threatening finger. Raise the right hand and stretch it out. Gathering both hands, place them like an umbrella. By what was previously explained, whichever mudra resides, contemplating the vajra at the heart, contemplate it as the great mudra. The four mudras that are spoken of in the root tantra are to be bound. The eight kinds, such as coquettishness, and the four that guard the doors, because they are in accordance with the root tantra, these are not explained separately. As it is being guarded, the great mudra, should be bound by the wise. Binding the two vajra fists, and placing them equally together, bend the index finger and the middle finger. Placing it in the manner of a flower is the mudra of love. With the left fist resting on the hip, and the right hand directly above the forearm, stretching out the index finger and the middle finger, placing the eyes equally, seeing is meaningful.
