Sambawa Ratna Kirane. Ratna Mala Washuddhe Shuddho Ya Sarwa Papam Hum. (Tibetan) The mantra for purifying the path is spoken as follows: Om Padme Padme Maha Padme. Padmodbhava Sukhavati Gacchantu Svaha. (Tibetan) Again, with auspicious verses: In the three times, one should bathe, Then flowers, incense, and so on, All should be offered, With the mantra of purifying the path, Rain down a shower of flowers, Thus, from two or three days to eight days, Starting from the day of holding the earth, Until the time of introducing the disciple. At the time of dwelling, invite the vase and others to descend. Then, in that part, the order as previously described, On the white lotus, draw a beautiful eight-spoked wheel. After placing the disciple on it, with a good white vase, According to the ritual described before, diligently bestow empowerment and give. Then, offer everything desired in the heart without lack. With endless offerings and generosity, give to all in this way. Bound by the suffering of samsara, dwelling in the six realms of beings, Merely by bathing in the mandala, one will be liberated from all suffering. By entering and seeing, the merit of that is immeasurable, From all paths of hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, one can avert that. One will be reborn in the Trayastrimsha heaven or in the Tushita heaven. This is the ritual to be performed at the southern gate. Then, as before, in the mandala, make offerings and complete it. Gather one's own generation into the heart, invite the invoked deities to return. Om, you have accomplished all the benefits of sentient beings, after going to the Buddha-field, also descend again for the benefit of sentient beings. After saying this, strike the cymbals three times. Akaro Mukham Sarva Dharmanam Adyanutpannatvad Aum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: अकारोमुखंसर्वधर्माणामाद्यनुत्पन्नत्वादां, Sanskrit Romanization: akāro mukhaṃ sarva dharmāṇām ādyanutpannatvād āṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: A is the head of all dharmas, because of non-origination) With this, gather the mandala. Send the pigments into the great river, fill the holes for washing the face, and whatever fire offering wheel and wealth there is, all of that belongs to the Vajra Master alone. Thus spoke the Vajra Holder. On the mandala ground, smear milk and cow dung, and with only white pigment, draw an eight-petaled lotus, then expound the Prajnaparamita, for the purpose of pacifying the earth deities, disciples, and guardians of the directions.
