Placing the two thumbs facing each other to form the shape of a mouth is the samaya mudra of Yama Terminator. The same gesture, made as if brandishing a stick, is the karma mudra. Two vajra fists, with the little fingers connected like a string of beads, the index fingers aligned and raised, lifted up and placed on the forehead, is the samaya mudra of Hayagriva. Waving both hands on either side of the cheeks is the karma mudra. Pressing the two thumbs on the nails of the little fingers, and placing them near the shoulders in the form of a vajra knot, is the samaya mudra of the nectar fire offering. Crossing both palms and holding them to the chest is the karma mudra. From the vajra knot mudra, raising the right index finger like a stick is the samaya mudra of the Blue Stick One. The left hand raising the threatening finger mudra, and the right hand made as if brandishing a stick, is the karma mudra. From the vajra knot mudra, bending the two index fingers in an open manner is the samaya mudra of being victorious over others. The left hand holding the threatening finger mudra to the heart, and the right hand made in the form of a joined palm, is the karma mudra. From the vajra knot mudra, making all the fingers appear to be burning is the samaya mudra of the Victorious One of the Three Realms. Connecting the little fingers like a string of beads, and holding the two threatening finger mudras to the heart, is the karma mudra. The great mudra is to contemplate the deity with these. On the tongue of all of these, visualize a lotus arising from the letter Hrih (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍), above that a moon disc arising from the letter Ah (藏文:ཨཱ་,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿), above that a vajra arising from the letter Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and in its center, visualize the Bhagavan Amitabha, red in color, arising from the letter Hrih (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍). Reciting all the mantra syllables is the dharma mudra. Among these, the essence of the mantra is: for the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, it is the essence mentioned above. For the wrathful deities, it is: Om Vajra Krodha Mahabala Utsushma Krodha Hum. Om Arya Achala Hum. Om Yamantaka Hum. Om Hayagriva Hum. Om Amrita Kundali Hum. Om Nila Danda Hum. Om Aparajita Hum. Om Trailokyavijaya Hum. Thus, it is recited. From the vajra knot mudra, opening both hands and making the gesture of extending the tongue is the samaya mudra of all messengers.
