当略作广说。 左手置于脐间， 右手作金刚持印， 是如来之手印。 净除恶趣等四印， 镇地、胜施、等持印， 无畏等依次为四印， 伸展后持金刚铃， 右持铁钩， 作射箭之势与摇动小铃， 指拇相触而持， 合拳是日之印。 左手握拳，形如肘， 置于口之方向。 右手拨开左手， 以双剑持于臂膀。 合拳于心间旋转， 从口之正面牵引， 双手握拳作舞姿， 置于左右脸颊。 然后再次旋转置于头顶， 头顶摇摆是事业印。 作甲胄之拳式， 从中指小指如牙齿， 双手握拳是镇压印。 从中置于左右腰间， 置后挺立是娇姿印。 持念珠是横印， 从口发出是歌舞印， 作舞蹈状是舞印。 从中拳头向下， 倾泻如香水般。 向上抛撒是花朵印， 向前合掌是灯印， 拳头尖端相抵于胸前， 涂抹是香水印。 双手握拳交叉， 小指内扣，双食指 相勾是铁钩印。 从中双食指尖相触， 作环状是索印。 从中无名指拇指相触， 作连珠状， 剩余收拢是铁锁印。 从中双食指相勾， 握拳按动是铃印。 如是无有手印， 以及分为二者， 菩提心与声闻， 以及独觉的一切， 当知是事业手印。 金刚持式扬杖， 三尖钺斧十字杵， 持敌斧宝剑莲花， 是忿怒事业手印。 于舌上，在坏劫月轮之中， 书写所说之明咒， 书写后作念诵， 是为宣说之法手印。 如是所说之观修， 手印法器之执持， 一切菩萨之， 是名大手印。 其中无有法器者， 当知是事业手印。

Thus, without hand implements, And divided into two, The bodhicitta and shravakas, And all the pratyekabuddhas, Know that these are action mudras. Vajra-holding posture, raising a staff, Trident, vajra club, crossed vajra, Holding enemy axe, sword, lotus, Is the wrathful action mudra. On the tongue, in the center of the waning moon, Writing down the taught mantras, Writing and reciting, Is the dharma mudra that is taught. As taught, meditating, Holding mudras and implements, Of all the bodhisattvas, Is called the great mudra. Among them, those without implements, Know that these are action mudras.
