Then bathe the body, Put on clean clothes, Fill the palms with flowers, Prostrate to the teacher and pray. Great joy, you are my teacher, Teacher, please listen. Please reveal the path of great Bodhi, I seek the great protector. Also, please grant me Bodhicitta. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, Please grant me the Three Refuges. The unparalleled secret mantra yoga, Shakya Lion, the protector, The extremely unbearable hosts of demons, The great army was also destroyed by him. Rejoicing. In the presence of the Buddha, I will confess those. For the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, And the Pratyekabuddhas, Arhats, and all beings, The merit of meditation and recitation, I rejoice in those. Generating the mind, manifesting enlightenment, And turning the wheel of Dharma, The practices of the Bodhisattvas, After that, I take refuge. Just as the Buddhas appear in the world, As the fortunate Bodhisattvas, Generate the mind of enlightenment, Today, I generate the mind of enlightenment. O Protector, please be mindful of me! O all the Buddhas who abide, From this time until enlightenment, O Supreme Ones, please look upon me! Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, The unsurpassed Three Jewels. The vows of Buddha Yoga, I will truly uphold. In the great supreme Vajra family, The Vajra bell and mudra, I will also truly uphold. The Acharyas as well, I will uphold. In the great supreme Ratna family, In the pleasing vows, Every day, Six times, Always give the four kinds of generosity. Born from the great Bodhi, In the supreme Padma family, The three drops of outer, inner, and secret, All the supreme Dharma as well, uphold completely. In the great supreme Karma family, In order to possess all the vows, I will truly uphold. I will also do the work of offering as much as I can. The precepts of discipline, And gathering virtuous Dharmas, The three disciplines that benefit sentient beings, Likewise, I will firmly uphold. With these virtuous Dharmas of mine, May the world quickly attain perfect Buddhahood, May all beings drowning in the ocean of Samsara, Be liberated into unsurpassed Bodhi. After reporting thus, the Acharya should protect the disciple, and bless the tooth-stick with the wrathful mantra. The ritual of the tooth-stick is as follows: Udumbara (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，Udumbara，汉语字面意思：Udumbara), Ashvattha (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，Ashvattha，汉语字面意思：Horse), Bind with flowers, anoint with fragrance. The length should be twelve fingers. Not bent, not cracked, not worm-eaten. As heavy as the bark of a Baya tree. After making a mandala on the ground, Place the disciple on it, Make offerings of flowers and so on. Give to the assembly of disciples. Then face east, Without speaking.
