莲花手印吉祥也,名为龙者如乌 উৎপལ(藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,乌 উৎপަލ),如是所为诸夜叉,罗刹之首如菜园,妇女之指交叉十,星宿之杖为诸曜,阿伽供养贫穷者,彼等一切心皆成。此乃世间诸天共通之莲花合掌手印。龙之手指如乌 উৎপަލ(藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,乌 उत्पަލ)状。所有夜叉之手指如梭状。罗刹之手左右如首级菜园状。所有妇女之手指交叉为十。所有星宿之手左右如杖状。如阿伽供养贫穷者,是所有星宿的,彼等是激励心意成就之义。头颅置于口中,此手印乃细面母。头盖骨舌之手印,说是金刚瑜伽母。彼等一切之共通,当说大手印,当说伸掌,或者作莲花掌。 名为头颅置于口中状,是细面母之手印。食指与拇指指尖相触,以无名指和小指作眼珠,中指伸为舌,是金刚瑜伽母之手印。世间诸天共通为伸掌或作莲花掌。结金刚拳后,名阿(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿)如连珠,名吽(藏文,梵文天城体,hūṃ,吽)二者竖立,是金刚手之手印。名为结金刚拳后,手腕交叉,小指如连珠相连,竖起食指,是金刚持忿怒尊。金刚缚已缚,吽(藏文,梵文天城体,hūṃ,吽)与阿(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿)二者并立而竖,名嗡(藏文,梵文天城体,oṃ,嗡)面相近,手印当观为显现。名为彼处阿(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿)已缚,名为小指向内弯曲,是作三界终结者。名嗡(藏文,梵文天城体,oṃ,嗡)向内弯曲,名阿(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿)如前相合,嗡(藏文,梵文天城体,oṃ,嗡)与阿(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿)亦作相同。

The lotus hand seal is auspicious. Those called nagas are like utpala. Likewise, the yakshas are like shuttles. The heads of the rakshasas are like vegetable gardens. The ten fingers of women are crossed. The staffs of the planets are for the stars. Argha offerings are for the poor. With all of these, the mind is accomplished. This is the common lotus-palmed hand seal for all worldly deities. The fingers of the nagas are made like utpala. The fingers of all the yakshas are made like shuttles. The hands of the rakshasas, left and right, are made like vegetable gardens of heads. The ten fingers of all women are crossed. The hands of all the planets, left and right, are made like staffs. Like argha offerings to the poor, it is for all the stars, and these are the meaning of inspiring the mind to accomplish. A skull placed in the mouth, this hand seal is for Tramenma. The hand seal of the skull tongue is said to be for Vajrayogini. In common for all of these, the great hand seal should be explained. The explanation of extending the palm, or making a lotus palm. Called placing a skull in the mouth, it is the hand seal of Tramenma. Touching the tips of the index and thumb fingers, making the ring finger and little finger into eyeballs, and extending the middle finger as a tongue, is the hand seal of Vajrayogini. In common for all worldly deities, it is extending the palm or making a lotus palm. After forming the vajra fist, the one called A(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿) is like a string of beads. The one called Hum(藏文,梵文天城体,hūṃ,吽) is raised up, it is the hand seal of Vajrapani. Called forming two vajra fists, crossing the wrists, connecting the little fingers like a string of beads, and raising the index finger, is the wrathful Vajradhara. After binding the vajra, Hum(藏文,梵文天城体,hūṃ,吽) and A(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿) are placed together and raised. The one called Om(藏文,梵文天城体,oṃ,嗡) is close to the face, the hand seal should be regarded as manifesting. Called A(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿) is bound there, called bending the little finger inward, is the one who ends the three realms. The one called Om(藏文,梵文天城体,oṃ,嗡) is bent inward. The one called A(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿) is joined as before. Om(藏文,梵文天城体,oṃ,嗡) and A(藏文,梵文天城体,a,阿) are also made the same.
