Through the yoga of this mudra, if even Buddhahood can be attained, what need is there to mention all the happiness of this life, the supreme bliss of future lives, and the happiness of the gods? All Buddhas and the Guru are the same. Therefore, one should not despise the Guru. If one despises the Vajra Guru, one will always obtain suffering. Vajra brothers and sisters, and Vajra mothers, the yogi should not despise them. One should not always harbor hatred and anger. One should not cultivate patience towards those who harm the Three Jewels, those who diligently slander the Guru, and those who have broken their vows. The Omniscient One said that those who possess such actions will achieve accomplishment. Cherishing all sentient beings with love, one will quickly achieve siddhis. As it is said, here are the words that the Vajra Guru should proclaim to the disciple. Among them, "Through the yoga of this mudra" refers to the yoga of entering the mandala of the Tathagata who completely purifies all evil destinies. If one practices it correctly, one will achieve the state of perfect and complete enlightenment. If one can achieve Buddhahood, what need is there to mention the happiness of this life, such as being free from illness and possessing wealth, and the supreme bliss of future lives, such as becoming a Chakravartin king and being born in the heavenly realms? These are words without doubt. "All Buddhas and the Guru are the same" is a statement praising the Guru. Although the Buddhas teach the Dharma to us, they do not benefit our mindstream. The Guru is certain to lead us to attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Therefore, the essence of all Buddhas is the glorious Vajradhara, and his essence and the Guru are equal and undifferentiated in our mindstream in the form of Dharma. Hence, it is said, "All Buddhas and the Guru are the same." Therefore, despising him is disrespect. Disrespecting him means going against his intention. In the moment of going against his intention, like extinguishing a lamp, the collection of light vanishes in an instant, and a collection of darkness arises. Similarly, our collection of merit and wisdom vanishes, and a great collection of sins and non-virtue arises.

Therefore, its result is related to obtaining suffering such as the uninterrupted hell. Therefore, in all ways, one should not contradict the guru's mind, this is the supreme and fundamental great samaya, as the Buddhas have said. Vajra brothers and sisters are the vajra brothers and sisters who have the same samaya gathered by the guru. The so-called Vajra Mother, although elsewhere it may be understood as Prajñā Mother and so on, here it refers to the guru's wife. To despise them is to despise them. Not despising them is the near-root samaya spoken by the Sugata. Always do not quarrel and bear grudges, elsewhere it is said to create discord in the Sangha, but here it refers to breaking the samaya. It is precisely not to sow discord and so on among Vajra brothers and sisters and so on. Those who harm the Three Jewels, one should not cultivate patience. Such as these, for example, with regard to the support of the unsurpassed Three Jewels, destroying the Sugata's teachings, demolishing the Sangha's monasteries, for kings and heretics and so on, with curses, poisons, powers, and mixtures of medicines and so on, generate great compassion for those sentient beings and kill them. Similarly, for those who slander the guru, antagonize the guru's body, those who have broken samaya, and evil sentient beings, applying means such as cutting off their lives, with great compassion, performing the two benefits, killing them is not a fault, this is what the Bhagavan Vairochana has said. Cherish all sentient beings with love, and siddhis will be quickly accomplished. This means that by combining skillful means and wisdom, one attains complete and perfect Buddhahood. Among them, the unsurpassed Bodhicitta is wisdom, and great compassion is skillful means. Therefore, at all times, doing the benefit of beings and accomplishing the wheel of the mandala, all actions will definitely be accomplished. As it is said in the tantra of playing with skillful means and wisdom: The wise one, skillful means and wisdom, should not be separated even for a moment. If they are separated, that person will not attain the Mahamudra.

Because it has been said. Therefore, the Blessed One has shown the perfection of benefiting others. Thereafter, the Blessed One declared this practice for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of Indra, the lord of the gods, and all beings including the realm of gods. Therefore, it should be understood that this is to show the perfection of benefiting oneself. Among these, there are two types of self-benefit perfection. One is declared for the sake of beings with dull faculties who like brevity. The other is declared for the sake of beings with sharp faculties who like profundity and vastness. Here, the Blessed One temporarily clearly declares for the sake of beings with dull faculties who like brevity, that is, on cloth, draw the Blessed One, the all-knowing, as he is. On the right is the Tathagata, the king who completely purifies all evil destinies. On the left, Shakyamuni Buddha should be drawn. Then, below the purifier of evil destinies, draw Avalokiteshvara, the lord of compassion, with a color like the moon, holding a lotus in his hand. Below Shakyamuni Buddha is Vajrapani. Between these two is the Medicine Buddha, blue in color, holding an arura fruit in his right hand, and his left hand in the gesture of supreme generosity. Hayagriva and the Victorious One of the Three Realms, who strive to subdue the unruly, these two should be drawn relying on their own deities. In the middle of these two, draw Locana, Mamaki, White-clad Tara, and Tara, each holding their own emblems. Below that, draw a lotus pond, and crocodiles, fish, turtles, white frogs, jumping fish, and so on, and various aquatic flowers filling it. Below that, draw incense, lamps, fragrances, garlands, offerings, flowers, and various fruits, and below that, draw the practitioner himself with palms joined, bowing and sitting, and so on. These are declared for individuals with dull faculties to practice on a canvas. For this, new cotton cloth is soaked in perfume, and the weaver is kept in retreat, weaving a cloth that is two cubits wide and three cubits long. After applying sandalwood and other pigments, the painter is kept in retreat.
