Because the distinctions of activities such as pacifying are difficult to surpass, and because they are the vows of the gods, they are called the mudras of vows. This is a collection of mudras that transcend the world. Summarizing it: the spearhead transforms into a head, the powerful one's three fingers are like a vajra, Yama's staff is like the middle finger, the little finger is bent, the index finger is like a rope, and it is considered to be the mudra of the water god. The one holding a wooden staff is a Yaksha, and the three-pointed one is considered to bring happiness. Bhṛdgiri ti (藏文,梵文天城体,bhṛdgiri ti,Mountain Breaker) is an outstretched arm, a Rakshasa is one who steals blood, a rotating hand is the wind god, and placing a vase is the wealth god. Light radiates in all directions above, and the one holding a lute in the left hand is a Gandharva. Thus, the little finger is like a sword, the middle finger is completely like a rope, the thumb is made to resemble a mongoose's ear, the head is a black skull, the two hands burn like flames, sharp and wrathful, possessing authority, and is the symbolic mudra of the wind god. These mudras, and others like them, are used universally with joyful hands. What is said here are the mudras of the three worldly mandalas. The first is when the two thumbs of the hands are knotted, the tips of the two index fingers touch, and the rest are separated like illusory heads, this is the vow mudra of the eight great nagas. The second is the mudra of the ten directional guardians, the first of which is pressing the little finger with the thumb, and making the remaining three fingers like a vajra. The second is making the two middle fingers like skull staffs. The third is making the thumb and middle finger like a rope-eye, and extending the index finger. The fourth is making the index finger like a wooden staff. The fifth is raising the two middle fingers and extending the two index fingers separately. The sixth is raising all the fingers upwards. The seventh is raising all nine fingers after making them. The eighth is joining the palms of the two hands together and then rotating them repeatedly. The ninth is placing one hand on top of the other, making the gesture of holding a vase. The tenth is intertwining the fingers with each other, creating the appearance of light radiating from them. The third is the mudra of the four great kings, the first of which is placing the left hand next to the ear and joining the middle finger and thumb of the right hand.
