dtg066 0035.the glorious king who purifies all evil destinies great commentary on the subtle king of rituals.g2.0f

English

Thus it is said: Method is the nature of things, wisdom is not a thing. So it is said. For these, the first two lines say that by the power of the basis, sins can be purified. The last two lines say that by practicing the antidotes, sins can be purified. The power of refutation and confession is also summarized here by the word "etc.", or summarized by the two, method and wisdom. Also, here, in order to show the greatness of the nature of mantra, because the great power of the skillful means of the Vajra Master can attain liberation, therefore two limbs are mentioned, just like the son of the gods, the immaculate jewel. Thus, monks, the deeds that have been done will not be wasted, and the deeds that have not been done will not be encountered, so it is said. Beings enjoy the share of the fruits of their own karma, so it is said, how to reconcile this? There is no harm in this. Just as the lotus opens, it is opened by the light of the sun, but it is not opened by itself, some also experience happiness and suffering due to other causes. If it only depends on what one has done, then how can the Buddha benefit beings? Therefore it is said: All dharmas follow separately, all dharmas follow each other, all dharmas follow and go, go away from the extremes. So it is said. Just as the movement of iron is not done by itself, but by a magnet, and the burning of wood is done by fire, this is the nature of all dharmas. The so-called nature of dharma is also the power of things, and the nature itself is not established from the beginning, it is not made by other causes and conditions, things are so determined. If you examine this, there is not even the slightest essential component, whether in the conventional truth or the ultimate truth, since the nature of things cannot be examined, then eliminating the wrong speculations of children is what the wise do. However, just as children draw pictures themselves and are afraid themselves, most people think that they bear the karma they have created themselves, therefore it is mainly said that karma is the master. Logically, it is the condition that has power, not karma, because karma exists dependent on conditions.

There is no work to be done, like light in darkness, and water droplets on a candle. The power of the Buddhas can only bless those who are qualified to attain the Dharma-nature, and not others. Just as the magnetic force of a magnet can only be obtained by iron, and not by gems and copper, etc. Therefore, for some who become vessels by their nature, the benefit that others receive from what is done by others is entirely the action of Dharma-nature, and should not be directed to other aspects. Then, regarding Indra and so on, it is easy to understand. The so-called "born like a Sugata" refers to abiding in the stages of a Bodhisattva, similar to being irreversible from great Bodhi. Because it can be inferred from seeing the signs of necessarily obtaining warmth and so on. If asked whether it is because of experiencing many kalpas, the answer is no. Because it is said in the sutra "in this very life," meaning that it is not just this one life of gods and humans, but from experiencing evil destinies and many similar lives, one attains liberation in this very life. The fruits of mantras are considered to produce results only in the visible Dharma, and other times, etc., are merely extremely inferior practitioners. As it is said in the Arya-Sarva-Dvara- प्रवेश-रश्मि-उष्णिश-विमला-प्रभा-सर्व-तथागत-हृदय-समय-अवलोकन-सूत्र (Ārya-Sarva-Dvara-praveśa-raśmi-uṣṇiśa-vimala-prabhā-sarva-tathāgata-hṛdaya-samaya-avalokana-sūtra): "Alas, Buddha! Alas, Dharma! Alas, Sangha! Alas, lineage mantra! Immediately showing results. Bhagavan Tathagata Shakyamuni, great compassion, wish-fulfilling jewel, I prostrate to you." It is also said in this sutra: "There is no guide like mantra." Then, "What do the great and famous gods do with those who have faculties?" means that Indra, with his five superknowledges, knows that the son of the gods has been liberated, and comes to make offerings to the Buddha. "In this very life" and so on, is offering the immaculate jewel, which is easy to understand, so it is not explained in detail. Whoever explains or speaks in a way that is different from the summary should know that it is any kind of erroneous instruction. The extensive explanation of the essence of the root tantra is completed.

Having thus explained the root tantra, I will explain the subsequent tantra from then on with "Bhagavan" and so on. Here, the expounder is Vajrapani, and the teacher and the lord of the tantra are as before. Some say that the subsequent tantra and its subsequent lord are Vajrapani, and they also say that when the tantra is nearing complete perfection, this is a praise to the lord of the Vajrapani tantra. The lords of the mandala are already clear. Among them, "from then on" means immediately after the root tantra was spoken. "Bhagavan" means as previously stated. "Bodhisattva" means: This is not the path to obtain nectar. To those who have gone astray, say, "Please contemplate the path." Having seen sentient beings with wrong views, open their wisdom, therefore it is called Bodhisattva. It is in this way. They are called Mahasattvas because their aims and so on are greater than those of the Shravakas and so on. Because Vajrapani is present here, it is Vajrapani. He explained this related subsequent examination chapter from the root tantra. Moreover, because it is not by his own power, it is said to be the power of the Bhagavan, it is a blessing. It is like it is said in the sutra that explains in another way: "The Bhagavan Bodhisattvas, whatever they say, whatever they think, whatever they do, all of that is the power of the Tathagata." Here, the "subsequent examination chapter" is abbreviated and is the discernment that makes it complete. The shapes, colors, definite positions, empowerments, mandalas, accomplishments, homas, and so on of the deities of both of those, I have already spoken about at the same time. The classification of the treatises, I have also examined at the time of summarizing the meaning. Now only the meaning of the words remains, and the meaning of the words is also easy to understand, so I will not speak about it. Therefore, only a few places of secret instructions can be spoken about. Therefore, those with the wealth of intelligence should quote the previously explained meaning and divide the detailed ritual into two parts, before and after. For those who do not have intelligence, no matter how much they use language and so on, the lotus of their intelligence will not bloom. As it is said:
