and trained in patience. The lords of the gods, the perfectly complete Buddhas, are the source of immeasurable qualities and precious jewels, which means that they cause the poor to have wealth, the naked to obtain clothes, the hungry and thirsty to obtain food and drink, the sick to be healed, and so on, the fruits of the three perfections arise continuously. The lords of the gods, the perfectly complete Buddhas, are perfectly complete in immeasurable skillful means, which means that they have accumulated the perfections of means, strength, aspiration, and wisdom for three countless eons. The lords of the gods, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Buddhhas, have immeasurable conduct, which means that they have trained in the four objects of collection, diligence, and the perfection of meditation for three countless eons. The lords of the gods, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Buddhhas, make immeasurable beings to be tamed into vessels, which means that even those who have cut off their lineage are placed in higher realms. The lords of the gods, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Buddhhas, possess unequal and equal wisdom, which means that they possess wisdom equal to the Dharma realm, which has no beginning, end, or middle. The lords of the gods, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Buddhhas, possess unequal and equal miraculous powers, which means that they are not shared with the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and the Buddhas possess miraculous powers equal to the sun. The lords of the gods, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Buddhhas, possess unequal and equal power of aspiration, which means that the aspiration that is not even the object of the Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis, but is only the object of the Buddhas, is spontaneously accomplished, as it is said in the "Glorious Union of All Buddhas": "The supreme Dharma is unobstructed by the accomplishment of aspiration." Similarly, in the "Noble Array of Trees," it is also said: "Because of the aspirations made in the past, they also appear in the form of bodies." Therefore, the lords of the gods, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Buddhhas, benefit sentient beings according to their capacity, and tame sentient beings according to how they should be tamed.

To benefit sentient beings, and to understand that benefiting sentient beings is like faith, this refers to combining the order of faculties, and those who delight in different births and different forms, in this way. As it is said in the Manifestly Perfect Enlightenment, the Ornament of Clear Realization. Then, before the Blessed One, the Secret Lord Vajrapani, being in that assembly of retinue, requested thus: Blessed One, how do the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, having attained the wisdom of all aspects, bestow that wisdom of all-knowing upon sentient beings, teaching with various methods, various thoughts, and various means? To some sentient beings, they teach the Dharma of the Hearer Vehicle; to some, the Dharma of the Solitary Realizer Vehicle; to some, the Dharma of the Great Vehicle; to some, the Dharma of the Five Superknowledges; to some, the Dharma of being born as gods; to some, the Dharma of being born as humans; and even to some, the Dharma of being born as great belly-crawlers, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras. Among them, some sentient beings who are to be tamed by the Buddha see the form of the Buddha; some see the form of the Hearer; some see the form of the Solitary Realizer; some see the form of the Bodhisattva; some see the form of the Great Powerful One; some see the form of Brahma; some see the form of the Son of No Craving; some see the form of the Son of Much Hearing; some see the form of the great belly-crawlers, and humans and non-humans. They see their own different ways of expressing words and various behaviors. This wisdom of all-knowing is also the one taste of the flavor of the Tathagata's liberation. Thus and so on, the Buddha spoke. Do not have doubt, hesitation, or double-mindedness about this, which refers to abandoning doubt and so on in the realm of the three valid cognitions, or at the time of the three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and meditating, or in the nature of the three conducts of entering and so on. Or, here, doubt refers to wavering, while hesitation and double-mindedness are different names.
