So, why wasn't the Lord of Emanation, etc., mentioned? The assembly of the Thirty-three Gods is like a pile of fly whisks in front of the higher and higher assemblies of gods, as stated in the "Extensive Play Sutra." Therefore, that is the race. The phrase "blessed by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas" means that they are blessed by relying on and enjoying the gods themselves. As it is said: Wherever virtues are supreme like ornaments, wherever they are born, those are said to be auspicious, they are the landing platform, they are the place of asceticism. And again it is said: Wherever speech goes, your eyes always see you, whoever sees your face, that world is blessed. Although it is certain to be a place, it also implies being blessed. Here, if one abandons the body, the so-called "blessed" means that the place is as solid as a vajra, and even the fire of destruction cannot destroy it, and those who dwell there will not be disturbed by demons and the vows of demons, as well as the earth, etc. For a very long time, it has also been blessed as a place of accomplishment. As it is said in the "Holy Accomplishment Sutra": Then there is another explanation, which is the characteristic of the place of practice, wherever one dwells, one will quickly attain accomplishment. Where the four demons are subdued, the Blessed One attains perfect enlightenment, and obtains the most supreme and rare state of many accomplishments. The banks of the Nairanjana River, pleasing and harmless, are a sacred field of accomplishment, spoken by the Blessed One himself. There, even many demons cannot harm, so practitioners should diligently engage in all activities there. Wherever the Dharma is proclaimed, wherever the Thubpa becomes peaceful, for the sake of maturing the sacred, wherever birth is manifested, in those places, accomplishments will manifest in three ways: certain, swift, and vast, and there will also be no obstacles there. Wherever are the places of merit, the Buddhas and their disciples, dwell for great kalpas.
