In the tantra where that very one who is completely victorious in the three realms, the noble one, is completely gathered, it says: The color of the utpala flower is deep blue and shimmering, the vajra hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: hum) mudra is drawn in, with a face that smiles with wrath, the left leg is extended and standing, the light of flames is intertwined with chains. The sole of the left foot presses down on the great Ishvara, the right foot presses down on the breasts of the difficult-to-overcome mother, it is the syllable "pri" (Tibetan: པྲི།). Thus it is said. This is the mandala of extreme wrath. In front of it is the great terrifying one, riding a buffalo, black, holding a trident and a hand drum in his right and left hands, extremely terrifying. And one who is the same as the terrifying mother. In the south, all-pervading blue, holding a wheel and a staff in his right and left hands, riding a garuda. In the west, Brahma, riding a swan, four-faced, holding a kundika and a rosary in his right and left hands. In the east, Indra, white, riding the son of the earth goddess, holding a vajra and a threatening mudra in his right and left hands. In the northeast, Ganapati, red, with an elephant head, holding an axe and a radish in his right and left hands, riding a mouse. In the north, Vaishravana, blue, riding a horse, holding a mongoose and a jeweled staff. In the northwest, Bhringi, without flesh on his body, dwelling in a skeleton, holding a rosary and a samadhi mudra in his right and left hands. In the southwest, Yama, black, holding a club and a threatening mudra in his right and left hands. Here, all the all-pervading ones and so on, are also the same as their respective directions, or embracing their wives from the neck as they please, all abiding in extremely terrifying forms. The rest is as before. In the mandala of the great gods, the center is as before. In the east, the great god is white, with three eyes, holding a trishula and a tripod in his right hands, holding a skull cup in his left hands, adorned with a half-moon and skulls on his head, riding a buffalo.
