Its circumference is thirty-two fingers. The other thirty-two places are the summary of practicing with thirty-two kinds of wisdom. Half of the outer mandala. It means: outer refers to the outside of the circumference. Wheel refers to rotating outside the cloth. Half of it refers to the stove. About half of it is the outside, which is the summary of cutting off the outside of the cloth. In the center of the mandala are jewels. It means: the center is the palace of wisdom, and radiant jewels, like the light of gold, should be painted. The outer surroundings should also be painted with lotus flowers and jewels intertwined. What is dug in its center is: observe well, half the size. It means: what is said below it is the steps. The center is the stove. Well means the summary of putting it on the scale. Observation means the summary of not cheating. Half the size means digging inward half the size of the stove. Four cubits or four arm lengths. Or like a lotus of auspicious birth.
