Sprinkling with incense water after reciting Vajra Krodha. Compacting the soil and making it as smooth as the back of a mirror is purification through earth and labor. Cleansing and scattering with incense water after reciting Vajra Krodha or Vajra Peak, and scattering with ashes from peaceful fire offerings and mustard seeds is purification through mantra. Purification through samadhi is: The Acharya sits in the center of the mandala, visualizing from the vajra to the palace, and visualizing the four doors and steps filled with earth. This is purifying the earth. Then, the Acharya, endowed with the yoga of the deity, thinks: I shall draw the great mandala of Vairochana in this place. This is seizing the earth with the power of mind. Then, the Acharya visualizes the great mudra of the Great Vajradhara, possessing the three samadhis, and sits in the center of the mandala, reciting: Om Vajra Tikshna Dukha Cheda Prajna Jnana Murti Jnana Kaya Vagishvara Arapachana Yatenama. Reciting until stopping is the Acharya's samadhi. Then, four excellent Dharma friends, possessing the pride of the four castes, from the eastern gate, praise with twenty prostrations: With these hundred names and thousand verses of praise, we praise, and also expand the great ritual, we pray to you, Protector, the great wheel of all Buddhas, we pray for the explanation of the sacred mandala. This is praying to subdue obstacles. Among them, blessing the eyes is: On the right, transforming the letter 'Ma' into the sun, on the left, transforming the letter 'Ta' into the moon, and above these two, using the letter 'Hum' as the pupil, this is blessing the eyes. On the soles of both feet, visualizing the letter 'A' transforming into various vajras, this is blessing the feet. Oneself is Vajradhara, Vajrasattva is oneself, I am the great King of Buddhas, the powerful Vajradhara is oneself, I am the great Vajra Lord, the blessing is not abandoned. Subduing with the vajra eye, the moon mandala of the left eye rotates to the left, visualizing dispelling all obstacles. The sun mandala of the right eye rotates to the right.

Think of burning all obstacles! Destroy them with the vajra gaze! Then, from the center of the mandala, leap towards the northeast corner like a young child, facing south, with the bell at the waist, shake the vajra three times, and speak these words: The Vajra Acharya named so-and-so, the disciple named so-and-so, for the sake of perfecting complete and ultimate Bodhi, and for the sake of all sentient beings attaining the fruit of unsurpassed wisdom, I shall draw the great mandala of Vairochana in this place. Gods, Asuras, Yakshas, Rakshasas, Pretas, flesh-eaters, Bhutas, forgetters, Dakinis, Garudas, Kinnaras, Vidyadhara Siddhas, old men, old women, servants, and retinues, whoever dwells here, depart! Having heard the command of Vajradhara, depart swiftly! Those who do not depart, I shall strike their heads into a hundred pieces with the vajra of my wisdom! Recite this three times. Then, draw a line with a single-pointed vajra with the toes of the feet, reciting Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and circumambulate the mandala, which is to destroy with the vajra gait. In the four directions of the mandala, take seven steps and forty-two hand gestures, with the vajra dance posture, either alone or more. Place in the east, ten white bowls made of Khampa wood, without Soma. Place them in the directions and corners, and arrange the Batuns in the same way. If there are no bowls, pour from Khampa wooden bowls. If there are none of those either, place a round one and pour. Horse stirrups adorned with flower garlands should also be placed in the four directions. Sprouts of barley, wheat, and grains should be well placed to grow. Bells, umbrellas, whisks, and threads should also be placed in the four directions, outside the horse stirrups, etc., for the sake of beauty, the wise should hang them. Scatter rice, barley, and grains, along with flower petals. Outside the mandalas, draw the outer pattern. Auspiciousness, well-known in this world.
