One should take hold of whatever is desired. Then, properly worship the mandala, and perform the recitation and meditation as they are. Then, on the tongue, on top of the lunar mandala, visualize a vajra arising from the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,literal meaning: Hūṃ). In its center, visualize a lotus arising from the syllable Hrīḥ (ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,literal meaning: Hrīḥ). Above that, visualize Amitābha, arising from the syllable Raṃ (རཾ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,literal meaning: Raṃ), definitely residing in samādhi. In his heart, on the lunar mandala, place the syllable Hrīḥ (ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,literal meaning: Hrīḥ), and recite: Oṃ Padma Sarasvati Sattyaṃ Ya Śodhaya Hūṃ Hrīḥ Raṃ Jī (ཨོཾ་པདྨས་ར་སྭ་ཏི་ས་ཏྟྱཾ་ཡ་ཤོ་དྷ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཧྲཱིཿ་རཾ་ཛཱི་), and bless the tongue. Then, offer incense and invite: The complete Buddhas residing in the ten directions, With their sons, the various realms of the world, The Vajra and Ratna families, Likewise, the Padma and Karma families. The essence mantras and families, All the assemblies of deities, Who abide in the essence of Dharma, May those ones consider me. For the sake of compassion for the disciples, And also for the sake of offering to you all. By what I, (name), am doing, With whatever offerings are available, The supreme city of the Dharma realm's nature, I now request the mandala. Having placed your compassionate heart near, I request you to bestow your blessings. Then, with one's own mantras and mudras, raise the wheel. Visualize those Tathāgatas themselves residing within a crystal-like multi-storied palace, and place them with joined palms. The method for joining the palms is as follows: In the center of Oṃ Hūṃ Trāṃ Hrīḥ Aḥ (ཨོཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཏྲཱཾ་ཧྲཱིཿ་ཨཿ), for the sake of encircling above, below, and in between. Visualize five Oṃs (ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,literal meaning: Oṃ), five Oṃs (ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,literal meaning: Oṃ), and again five Vaṃs (བཾ,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,literal meaning: Vaṃ) above, and also five Hūṃs (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,literal meaning: Hūṃ) below. In this way, meditate on oneself and the mandala. Then, in that very place, with the chief of the disciples, one should lie down with a mind possessed of wisdom that equally places itself in meditation. On the second day, at sunrise, having bathed well and adorned oneself with all ornaments, being very joyful and possessing a happy mind, sprinkle the place of the mandala with scented water and adorn it with flowers and so forth. Having dyed with colors possessing blue, yellow, red, green, and white hues, prepare the threads separately, and arrange them in order.

After placing it, send the rays of light from the threads that arise from the seeds of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanized: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), Trāṃ (Tibetan: ཏྲཱཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्राम्, Sanskrit Romanized: trāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Trāṃ), Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanized: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hrīḥ), and A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanized: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) to those who reside in your direction, such as Akṣobhya, visualizing them as burning, and draw them with the iron hook held in your hand. Place the heads of their threads well on top. Anya Anya Anugata. Sarva Dharma Paraspara Anu Praviṣṭa Sarva Dharma Atahayanata Anu Praviṣṭa Sarva Dharma Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanized: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), recite and wrap it. Then, place it well inside a golden vessel, etc., smeared with good sandalwood, etc. Scatter flowers, and holding the mantra vajra fist for drawing lines, recite it one hundred and eight times completely. Then, the owners also recite one hundred and eight times, and again perfectly offer to all the Tathāgatas. Bow and rise, and from your heart, which has become Samantabhadra in the form of mind, extract the friend Vajra with "Hūṃ Jja (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ་ཛྫ་)". From "Ma" and "Ṭa", generate the appearance of yellow sun and moon in the right and left eyes. With the letter "Jja", send the thread into the friend's hand. The left vajra fist first grabs the thread, and then do as you please. The wise should draw the mandala lines, the east and west directions, the north and south directions. Drawing four lines makes eight mandalas. "Oṃ Vajra Samaya Sūtraṃ Mātikrama Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་སཱུ་ཏྲཾ་མཱ་ཏི་ཀྲ་མ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ वज्र समय सूत्रं मातिक्रम हुं, Sanskrit Romanized: oṃ vajra samaya sūtraṃ mātikrama hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Samaya, Sutra, Do not transgress, Hum)", with this, urge the Tathāgatas residing in all Buddha-fields to come here for the sake of sentient beings. All the four corners, etc., should be drawn with lines in the order previously described. In the water, double the size of the mandala's sun, and with a thread that is one-twentieth the width of the door, draw all the mandalas in this order. First, bow to all the Tathāgatas. From the letter Jja, release the excellent friend of the practitioner, transformed into the form of Vajra activity. Thinking that all directions are equal, sit at the western gate. Face east, and grasp the central direction. Then, go around in a circular manner and face north to grasp. Return again, and likewise look towards the east.
