The explanations about the Dharmadhatu, and the teachings about being free from words, etc., are all guiding terms. For the truly certain meaning, there is neither so-called "ultimate truth" nor so-called "obscuration." The statement "The path is like this in the ultimate way" is itself an obscuration. The so-called "ultimate truth" or "obscuration" are terms of obscuration in the relative truth. If one is truly in a state of non-duality, how can there be a distinction between the two truths of true and false? Without attachment to agreeable things, and without aversion to disagreeable things, showing truth and falsehood equally, one does not abandon or abide in either the presence or absence of doubt. Not seeing the true meaning and having doubt, and seeing the truth and having no doubt, in any case, there is no duality of truth and falsehood, so there is no action of abandoning the false and abiding in the true. Why? Because there is no meditator and no Dharmadhatu, so there is no doubt, and there is no clinging to a superior view. The meditator who realizes, and the Dharmadhatu to be realized, do not exist in the true sense, so who realizes what? There is no doubt. Therefore, there is no clinging to a correct view in the absence of doubt, which is consistent with the teaching in the scriptures to "abandon attachment to agreeable things." Being free from the four extremes and being equal without any object of focus, therefore, examining the limits of things, their nature is illusory or non-existent. As stated above, if the limits of things are examined, because their nature is not established as merely an illusion, there is no non-existence dependent on existence, and there is no non-existence for non-existence. If existence is not established in this way, then is it non-existence? If even existence does not exist, then whose non-existence is it? Therefore, if even existence does not exist, it is not reasonable to establish non-existence in dependence on existence. Then, can something that is not born by nature and does not exist at all be called non-existence? It cannot, because there is no seeing and no hearing. For something that does not exist in its own nature, because it cannot be thought or spoken of, one cannot think that there is nothing. There is no non-existence for non-existence. Because there are no limits, one does not abide in the center either. Because the non-existence of limits such as existence and non-existence has been explained above, if there are no limits, then where is the center? Therefore, there is no center either. Because there is no center, so

Nor does it abide on the ground. Equal conduct is: wherever it is, all the lotus of worldly power abides as if not enjoying. Whatever dharma it may be, to possess what are to be done as the qualities of desire of the world is called power, and having and existing, one can also enjoy it. Not being stingy is called wealth, which means actually enjoying the qualities of desire. Just as a red lotus appears to be stained with color, it is not painted and decorated with color. Similarly, enjoying the five qualities of desire of the world also seems to be stained with faults, but like a lotus not stained with color, it is called the lotus of power because it is not stained with faults. Or, just as a lotus is not stained by faults such as water, if one understands the meaning explained above, one is not stained by faults, so it is called the lotus of power. If one is not stained like a lotus, one enjoys the five desires and does not abandon them, which is also the meaning of it. The so-called "like" means equal abiding, the merits to be done and the faults to be abandoned. In the true meaning, there is no difference because they are the same. Because they are the same, they are not distinguished and are equal, so they do not abandon and abide. Seeing the Dharma as mistaken is to realize that it itself is mistaken. If sentient beings themselves are not established, then who would be mistaken? Knowing that there is no mistake and seeing it as a mistake is to thoroughly realize that it itself is a mistake. Therefore, the teachings of the six teachers are not abandoned, nor are they regarded as evil. The teachings of the six heretical teachers, as well as the afflictions that cut off the life of virtue, the works of demons, etc., are also abandoned because they are unattainable, and are not intended in the heart. The practice of wisdom and means also does not abide, so it acts like a demon. The practice of wisdom and means is also not established in any nature, so there is no basis for abiding. The practice of demons, both of which are not born and are equal, so they act like demons. Holding one's own knowledge as supreme, and surpassing all, arrogance arises from this, and then greed and hatred arise, and disputes arise from this, which is ignorance, not seeing the truth. It is said in the sutras that to be free from all views is to truly see the truth. Therefore, holding on to views is a fault. If we speak truthfully, neither truth nor falsehood is established.
