The sphere of the mind, those are the dharmata of all dharmas. Whatever appearance of an object arises, whatever conceptual thought of the mind arises, is not other than dharmata. In order to show without fault, in the sphere of the mind, whatever object appears, those are the dharmata of all dharmas. Even at the ultimate of the object, there is no grasping, so meditating like that is the supreme of the path. Why is there wandering? Because there is grasping at various kinds of signs. Separating from the appearance of signs is to show that there is no wandering. In any separation from signs, there is neither supreme nor inferior, so meditate on this supreme path. What is the appearance itself like? Even if the object has ceased, its appearance is still clear in the mind. Even if the object is manifest, there is grasping at the arising of such an appearance, and knowledge arises, so it is the consciousness of appearance, so it is called consciousness. Meditating on the true meaning is not grasping at any kind of appearance, so it is called separation from appearance. Like that, not grasping at any kind of appearance, not grasping at supreme or inferior, so meditating like that is the supreme of the path. Whatever conceptual thought of the mind arises, it is without fault, namely: "Actions do not arise, all dharmas are unborn, dharmas are extinguished, very deep nirvana." "Unreality, at that time everything is also the dharmadhatu, is the arhat Subhuti." This is saying that all conditioned dharmas are unborn from their own nature, nor are they born from other causes and conditions, so they are the nature of extinction. Like that, at the time of knowing and realizing, whatever knowledge or conceptual thought arises, all are without fault. For realizing and knowing the dharmadhatu, it is called the arhat Subhuti. Or it is an arhat of unknowing obscurity, so it is called the arhat Subhuti. Space is ungraspable, it is only a name, there is no distinction between virtue and non-virtue, there is no birth. The meaning of what was shown above is like space, space is only a name, but the meaning represented by the name is not grasped as any kind of characteristic. For virtue and non-virtue, etc., there is no division into two, because there is no birth. As shown above, it is established by reason, so meditate like that, what is extensively shown is: not applying effort, for anything

It is without mind and separate from knowledge and non-knowledge. One does not even consider the effort to abandon or cultivate. There is no thought for any object of focus. Since the nature of mind is not established, one does not think of knowledge and non-knowledge, therefore it is called separate from knowledge and non-knowledge. There is no joy or unequaledness in remembering and distinguishing, abandoning and taking, and there is no attachment. Because it is in accordance with the true meaning and there is no difference in the antidote, there is no need to remember the antidote, and there is no joy in abandoning or joy in taking for that person. There is also no equal dwelling of the dissimilar and the antidote, because one does not focus on anything, and if it is equal, there is no dualistic grasping, it is unspeakable, and there is no doing or not doing, etc. There is no desire and no non-desire, so one abides in equality, and because one does not distinguish differences, there is no dualistic thought. Because there is no grasping of "it is like this," it cannot be spoken of in any way, so it is separate from speech. Because there is no pursuit, there is no action. One does not see the actions of the three doors as faults, so there is also no non-doing, and there is no need to perfect the two accumulations, as it is said that the nature of reality has no decrease or increase. What are the signs of proper meditation that arise? Without effort, without intention, and without confusion, with equal awareness. Thus, as stated above, meditate without error, with equal awareness, and such signs will arise. To what is there attachment and intoxication by objects? Without fear, without separation, and without abiding. One is attached to and desires any object, but one is not intoxicated or deluded by the objects of the senses as they are by reason. Since it is not one's own nature, there is no fear of not desiring anything, so one does not separate from anything, and because there is no joy or attachment to anything, one does not abide in any dharma. The four unobstructed equal awarenesses, the aspects and the perfections, are known there. The meaning of the nature of reality that is not stolen by the unfavorable aspects, the four wisdoms of equal awareness, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the ten perfections, etc., are the extremely difficult aspects, and all the qualities of great fruit are gathered in the meaning of meditation as stated, and known by one's own intelligence. The mind's
