Because he holds the very essence of being the chief who excellently demonstrates mantras, he is called the Mantra Holder of the Great Tradition. Or, the great samaya is excellently demonstrated in the manner of a vajra. The secret mantras of those are the wisdom of the unity of method and wisdom, and because he holds that, he is the Mantra Holder of the Great Samaya. Because it is essential to fully clarify and excellently demonstrate the meaning of the Three Jewels, he is the main holder of the Three Jewels. The three vehicles are those of the Hearers and so forth. Because he demonstrates the various distinctions of the vehicles in that way, he is the teacher of the Supreme Three Vehicles. Now, in order to show how to terrify the three worlds, he arises in the form of Great Terrifier, and in order to subdue the great gods and other wrathful deities, the Bhagavan in the form of Noble Yamantaka, from "Meaningful Lasso" and so forth, to the end of "Supreme of those with hair," is spoken. Because he summons all sentient beings and makes them not waver from the Great Vehicle, that lasso which is the nature of great compassion with meaning and results is the Meaningful Lasso. He is completely victorious by the very nature of being victorious over the enemies of the heretics and demons. Therefore, having summoned them with the lasso of love and placed them under control, he correctly gathers all sentient beings, and that indivisible object of gathering, the lasso which is the nature of the four means of attraction, like a vajra, is the Great Holder Vajra Lasso. In order to accomplish through power, the Tathagatas and so forth, and all sentient beings are summoned, and the wisdom of indivisible great compassion is the nature of a hook, therefore it is the Vajra Hook. Those sentient beings who are summoned by power are necessarily joined by the non-dual nature of method and wisdom, therefore it is the Great Lasso. Because the form of Vajra Terrifier terrifies those sentient beings who are difficult to subdue, it is the Vajra Terrifier Terrifier. He is the complete Yamantaka, inseparable from the Lord Manjushri himself. Therefore, he is the King of Wrathful Ones, that is, the Lord of Wrathful Ones.

Or, because the Wrathful One himself is beautiful and bright, he is the King of Wrathful Ones. Because the nature of the six perfections is this deity's six faces, it is called Six-Faced. The shapes of the faces are diverse: enemies are like a turbulent ocean; some faces smile, some are peaceful, some have eyes wide open in terror, some faces are open, and the tongue is also moving, and some are gnashing their teeth. This is according to such reasoning. Terror is that which is terrifying. Possessing the nature of the six superknowledges, seeing all things, having six unpleasant and terrifying eyes located on the sides of the forehead, that is Six-Eyed. Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, gods, and refuge, which are called the nature of the six recollections, the six hands are the six arms. Possessing the five powers such as faith, having sharp wisdom that distinguishes right from wrong, gnashing the teeth and possessing tall teeth, therefore it is the Gnashing Teeth One. Human heads are wet and dry. Adorned with a garland of pretas. One should meditate on such a protector. Because it is said so. Because it possesses bone ornaments, it is Bones. Gnashing teeth also refers to this, and bones also refer to this, thus combining the words. Possessing sight, teeth, saliva, and the poison of touch, the poison burns like fire and radiates in all directions, the eyes are extremely vicious, the tongue moves very quickly and flows like lightning, it is extremely terrifying. The great songs with various shapes and colors of jewel decorations are called Hala Hala. With them, the hair is bound, silk is hung in the parting, as earrings, necklaces, ornaments for offerings, armlets, bracelets, belts for the body, anklets, and various ornaments, therefore, the one who has hundreds of faces of Hala Hala is the Hundred-Faced Hala Hala, that is, the terminator of Yama. That is, terminating, holding, and subduing, therefore it is the Terminator of Yama. Or, the word Yama has two meanings, terminating it is destroying it by teaching the non-dual Dharma, so it is said that way. For the wishes of sentient beings.
