Silence means transforming non-silence into silence, and it should be connected in this way. It is not the case that the Shravakas, etc., attain silence like the extinguishing of a lamp. Because it is free from the disturbance of conceptualization, it is therefore without disturbance. Among the eight limbs of the Noble Path, right view is wisdom. The remaining seven limbs are feet, and because one possesses these, one possesses both wisdom and feet. Sugata is beautifully gone, like a beautiful maiden, and unlike a maiden, gone like a well-filled vase, and gone without return, like a well-cured disease. These also explain that going means knowing, that is, having understood the non-inverted path, having understood all that is to be known, having understood the nature of reality without complete loss, and should be connected according to the number. The types of birthplaces of beings are divided by the distinctions of land, mountains, oceans, and continents, which are sentient beings and the world of containers. Because one knows and sees as they are with the five eyes of flesh, etc., therefore one knows the world. Alternatively, it is said that the five aggregates are the world, because one truly knows that in the ultimate sense they have no nature of fear or non-fear, therefore one knows the world. Precisely because of this, it is superior to oneself and others, therefore it is supreme. Because it is the nature of non-dual wisdom, it is free from the thought of "this is me" and does not grasp at self. The nature of self taken as the cause of self is not grasped at because it is harmed by valid cognition. In the ultimate sense, there is neither grasping at self nor grasping at what belongs to self, as it is said: "Whatever has no grasping at 'I' and 'mine,' that also does not exist; without grasping at 'I' and 'mine,' who sees that does not see." World-Honored One, are these principles not contradictory to each other? The answer is, truth, etc., there are two truths, namely the nature of conventional and ultimate. Among them, the way of conventional truth is that the path of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas has been understood, and they abide in the manner of afflictions and purification, etc. The ultimate truth is

The lord of the nature of the Dharmadhatu, devoid of elaboration, the peaceful protector, appears to those to be tamed in such and such a way, therefore he abides in a way that does not abide in the two truths, but that difference exists. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: "My nature is of two kinds, namely teaching and tenet. What is spoken to children is the teaching, and what is to yogis is the tenet." The place can also be added to what will be said. The great essence of the accumulation of merit and wisdom is spoken of. Starting from "samsara" etc., the five types of beings arising from afflictions and karma, the nature of being extremely bound by old age and death is samsara. Going to the other shore is nirvana. The limit of these is selflessness, the difference between samsara and nirvana is the meaning of non-duality. Abiding in that is abiding in a way that does not abide. Thus it is also said: "With wisdom, one does not abide in existence, with compassion, one does not abide in peace, not being distant by means, and not being distant by means." At the indivisible limit is the place of Dharmata, as it is said: "Nirvana is eternal, samsara and nirvana, there is not the slightest difference. Nirvana is also not the slightest different from samsara. Whatever is the edge of nirvana, that is the edge of samsara, the difference between these two, even the slightest is not there." If it is explained in this way, what is the reason? It is said: "What has been done has been done." That is, all Bodhisattvas generate the nature of things that are practiced for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings. It is the characteristic of perfecting the accumulation of merit and wisdom, as well as the ground and going to the other shore. Whatever that action is done, it is just like that. Having done that action, one transcends the precipice of existence and nirvana, surpassing everything, therefore one abides in a place free from all fears, and therefore abides in a dry place. In the Hearer Vehicle, the so-called transcendence of samsara etc., is said to be the attainment of nirvana. Nirvana appears to all beings in this way. The only wisdom is the meaning of non-duality. The only nature is the only wisdom.
