The twelve vowels of Nādu were spoken by the Blessed One (Sanskrit: Bhagavān, Sanskrit Romanization: bhagavat, literal meaning: World Honored One). That is, when one is extremely familiar with the twelve pāramitās and reaches the peak, the twelve special states of mind that mature are the bhūmis, which should be read from the scriptures. Among them: "A" refers to non-arising, etc., is the ultimate bodhicitta, is the nature of the mind of liberation, is the bhūmi of practice with faith. It can distinctly realize the pure bodhicitta and also symbolizes the Ratnapadma pāramitā. "Ā" refers to the characteristics of dharma, wealth, and fearlessness, can clarify the perfection of giving pāramitā, and also symbolizes the Joyful Bhūmi. "I" refers to being free from the concept of birth, having the characteristics of guarding, correctly accumulating dharma, and benefiting sentient beings, can clarify the special practice of morality pāramitā, and also symbolizes the Immaculate Bhūmi. "Ī" refers to being able to endure even if limbs are cut off, therefore not caring about suffering, being able to endure harm caused by others, and the characteristic of firmly contemplating the dharma, can clarify the special practice of patience pāramitā, and also symbolizes the Luminous Bhūmi. "U" refers to perfectly practicing the dharma classes of body, speech, and mind, being bound by benefiting sentient beings, and purifying the Buddha-fields, which are the characteristics of being filled with joy in these three, can clarify the special practice of diligence pāramitā, and also symbolizes the Radiant Bhūmi. "Ū" refers to the fact that all dharmas neither increase nor decrease. It is the dhyāna pāramitā that is free from faults, can abide, and has three perfect characteristics, can clarify its special practice, and also symbolizes the Very Difficult to Train Bhūmi. "E" refers to being completely free from all defilements, therefore understanding that all dharmas are peaceful. It can clarify the special practice of the three wisdoms arising from hearing, thinking, and meditation, and also symbolizes the Manifest Bhūmi.

It can function. ཨཻ་ (Tibetan) is called, because it completely enters the naturally accomplished and non-discriminating realm of reality, therefore abandoning one's own faults; entering into the benefit of sentient beings; quickly manifesting enlightenment, possessing these three characteristics of the means of the pāramitā, especially practicing can fully realize, and also represents a distant position. The letter ཨོ་ (Tibetan) is, vigorously accomplishing the collection of crossing the river of discriminating thoughts; accomplishing the affairs of sentient beings; completely purifying the Buddha-land, possessing these three characteristics of the aspiration pāramitā, manifesting from the excellent, and also represents an immovable position. The letter ཨཽ་ (Tibetan) is, the speaker of incomparable Dharma nature himself can dispel karma, can abandon afflictions, can dispel the disturbances of demons and external enemies, possessing these three characteristics of the power pāramitā, especially expounding the practice itself, and also represents the position of excellent wisdom. ཨཾ་ (Tibetan) is called, the ultimate of the Bodhisattva ground, understanding the equality of non-discrimination and non-discrimination; for the means of accomplishing the affairs of sentient beings, there is no concealment, possessing these three characteristics of the wisdom pāramitā, can distinguish the ultimate perfection, and also represents the Dharma cloud. ཨཿ (Tibetan) is called, the nature of the wisdom light of all-knowing, unwavering and indivisible, the non-dual Suchness nature, the Vajra activity pāramitā of the Tathāgatagarbha, because of especially realizing the ultimate perfection, therefore for all the activities of sentient beings, naturally accomplished and clearly entered, and also represents the position of the Samantaprabha Buddha.
