Next to it, there was a tree, and on the tree was a large black snake. The image of the snake appeared in the water. People, due to their varying degrees of courage, some said it was a real snake and didn't dare to drink the water. Others said it was just a reflection, and drinking the water would be harmful, so reciting poison mantras would be beneficial. Some said, since it's just a reflection, let's drink it. Others said, let's stomp on it and then drink it. One wise person said, it's just a reflection, so there's no need to do anything. Just leave it there and drink the water, and so he drank it. Similarly, this can be compared to the differences between the Great Vehicle and the Small Vehicle. The accumulation of the two accumulations is the accumulator. It is said that in the past, when Manjushri was reborn as King Migzang (Good Eyes), the king sentenced a thousand beings to prison, but later redeemed them with his children, consorts, and kingdom. During the time of King Mipham (Invincible), he gave away his body. During the time of King Tsukna Rinchen (Crown Jewel), he gave away his head. During the time of King Dawa O (Moon Light), he gave away his eyes. During the time of King Tokso, he gave away his five senses. During the time of the one known as the son who gives away everything, he gave away his feet and blood. Therefore, the venerable one accumulated the two accumulations. All of these depend on yoga or supreme samadhi, so the scriptures say that he is always unshaken from all victories. This also happened in the past on Vulture Peak Mountain, when the Bhagavan was teaching the Dharma to countless retinues. The noble Manjushri arose from samadhi and began to walk, and saw the venerable Shariputra diligently meditating. He asked, "Are you meditating?" Shariputra replied, "Yes." He asked again, "Are you meditating in order to abandon afflictions?" Shariputra replied, "Yes." He asked, "Then in which of the three times do you dwell while meditating? Do you dwell in the five objects while meditating? Do you dwell in the five senses while meditating? Do you dwell in the three realms while meditating?" All of these are equality. He asked, "What is your meditation, the object of meditation and the meditator?" Shariputra replied, "I am only meditating in order to abandon conceptual thoughts." He asked, "Then are conceptual thought and mind the same or different?" Since conceptual thought and mind are not different, nothing can be found upon examination. At that time, some people did not believe and immediately fell into the Howling Hell, and then were reborn in Tushita Heaven. What is Manjushri's meditation?

All objects are unattainable. Unattainability is non-discrimination, non-deliberation, and the pacification of proliferation. Where is that? Or are both there? Or is it neither? Or is it not admissible anywhere? It is separation from all objects, without mind and separated from mind. What is there to think about the uncreated? What is there to think about nirvana? Both are the work of demons, as the Buddhas have well explained. Thus, all attain the Arhatship. Therefore, the venerable one dwells as long as samsara exists and possesses the supreme yoga. What is its result? It is the teaching of possessing the three bodies, five bodies, five wisdoms, five families, and five eyes. The teaching of activity is the generation of all Buddhas. Thus, all Buddhas are born from the nature of reality, and because it is taught without error to all, Buddhas arise there. The venerable one himself is also born from non-duality, therefore he is the supreme son. Even though he acts for the benefit of others, he is not tainted by faults, because he knows that all phenomena are like illusions, so he does not take existence. If asked how he acts for the benefit of beings, two form bodies arise from non-duality and eliminate existence. The incomparable body, free from birth and death, performs the benefit of beings as soon as it arises. The body is like a rainbow, adorned with marks and signs. That body, which arises from emptiness, is the essence of the five wisdoms. From the light of wisdom, the five wisdoms accomplish the benefit of beings. For one's own benefit, he is the supreme master who knows and protects both. Because he acts for the benefit of others and performs activities, he is called "meaning" from the vidya-mantra. On the head of the venerable one dwells the crown of the five wisdoms, expanded and contracted. The example of the body is like the sky, from which all things arise. As explained above, because he has become extraordinary, he sees all beings with his eyes and shows birth in the way that tameable beings are tamed, therefore he generates various forms. The nine great sages worship and praise him. In the past, the teacher, the lord of the gods, was in the position of mastery, where many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas resided, and all practiced the Dharma. But since Manjushri had not spoken, others did not dare to speak, and no one dared to initiate. Sixteen Bodhisattvas praised him with sixteen verses, beginning with "Glorious source, Manjushri, glory of all."
