Sa. Now, let us enter into the ordinary state. Since it has become non-abiding nirvana, in all the realms of the ten directions, it makes sentient beings who have fortune manifestly rejoice with the sound of teaching the Dharma that is in accordance with them, therefore it is called "The Great Drum of Dharma of the Ten Directions." It is formless, has excellent and supreme form, and various forms are born from the mind. And so on. Because it has become the nature of the Dharmakaya, it is formless. Because it has become the nature of the Sambhogakaya, which is complete with all marks, it is excellent and supreme form. Because the Nirmanakaya accurately shows various forms of bodies in accordance with those to be tamed, it is various forms. Born from the mind means it is empty of external objects and necessarily arises from the mind alone. Because it controls the appearance of all forms, all forms are the glory of appearance. In all the realms of the world, it simultaneously tames beings, and in the stream of consciousness like immaculate water, it makes reflections appear separately, so it is "The One Who Holds All Reflections." With unobstructed power in all ways, it moves without being fixed. He is the sole great powerful one who is the master of all three realms, including the great powerful Ishvara, and because he possesses an invincible body, he is known as great. That is, "The Great Powerful One of the Three Realms." Here, the noble eightfold path is the noble path. Because one abides in the noble eightfold path, one abides in the noble path. Since one has attained the root and also abides in the noble path, it is said, "The noble path abides in the very high." What is that? It is "The Great Banner, the Crown of Dharma," which means showing the appearance of a great Dharma mark. It will be taught thus: becoming the mark of all dharmas, raising up true wisdom, and abiding in the path of original purity. The venerable Manjushri himself, who has become the cause of the Dharma of the great elements, is said to be its nurturer, because there is no cause for other dharmas apart from him. The three realms are the three thousand worlds. There, it is a single body with the form of a youth.

Whoever possesses such qualities is the sole youthful body in the three realms. Because he is the abbot of the Sangha, he is the most supreme of all and worthy of offerings, hence he is the Abbot. Because he is aged with the wisdom of knowing all, he is the Elder. Because he creates the appearance of Brahma and others, he gives rise to all beings, hence he is the Lord of Beings. The Thirty-Two Marks. What are the thirty-two marks, meaning the thirty-two marks of a great being? They are: having wheels on the hands and feet; having level feet; having webbed hands and feet; having soft and tender hands and feet; having the seven prominences; having long fingers; having broad heels; having a large and upright body; having high insteps; having hair that curls upwards; having legs like a deer king; having arms that reach the knees; having retracted genitals; having golden skin; having extremely smooth skin; having each hair curling to the right; having a radiant face; having an upper body like a lion; having well-formed shoulders; having broad shoulders; having the best taste; being surrounded like a banyan tree; having a protuberance on the crown of the head; having a broad and long tongue; having a voice like Brahma; having cheeks like a lion; having white teeth; having even teeth; having close-set teeth; having even teeth and all forty teeth complete; having eyes with distinct white and black, like the eyelashes of a king of cows. The Blessed One has wheels with a thousand spokes on the palms of his hands and soles of his feet, complete with all aspects of the rim, hub, and spokes, like those carved from bone or ivory, hence the name having wheels on the hands and feet. Both soles of the feet are placed evenly on the ground, without any unevenness, hence the name having level feet. Like a Chakravartin King, the fingers and toes are connected by webbing, hence the name having webbed hands and feet. Like the kalaviṅka bird, they are extremely soft, tender, and supple, hence the name having soft and tender hands and feet. The two hands, two feet, two shoulders, and the prominence of the neck are very high, hence the name having the seven prominences. Hands and feet
