The uninterrupted direction is also not separate from the assembled direction. Therefore, atoms and the like cannot become objects of the eye and other (senses). Because atoms and the like transcend the objects of the senses, they cannot be seen. It is also unreasonable to assume that they have limbs. If it is gradually formed from two atoms and so on, and becomes a limb-possessor, then according to the established tenet, when there is no accumulation of atoms and so on, how can the assembled limb-possessor arise? The proof of its existence is also non-existent. Because in manifestation, atoms transcend the objects of the senses, atoms are also regarded as non-existent. Inference also takes it as a premise, so arbitrary speculation is unreasonable. Similarly, it cannot enter into it, as one example says. Other valid cognitions that show things as they are are also non-existent, because grasping two valid cognitions is itself speculation, and not otherwise. If anything gross appears from the accumulation of minute things, such as the collection of Mungala and so on. The third atom and so on appear as gross because the accumulation of minute things is a prerequisite. It is also unreasonable to say that any differentiated form is an atom. Because the meaning of grossness is not established, the direction itself cannot be taken as an example. Otherwise, the direction will be no different from the example. However, even if it is possible to infer in this way, anything that is distinguished as gross will be broken down and shown. For example, piling up collections of bean meat one by one, until everything is cleared away, only an empty space remains. Similarly, if one analyzes to the end of the atom and divides the atoms into parts, then everything will disappear. Therefore, atoms are not to be grasped, nor do they exist in a state of having parts. If atoms are not to be grasped and are not in a state of having parts, then how does the gross form exist before us and appear as blue and other forms? If there is no cause, how can it become close to being an object of knowledge with definite object, time, and form? If there is an external cause, then is the external thing established in the form of atoms or in some other way?

After seizing the handle, the Vaibhashikas and practitioners, etc., say that the non-appearing consciousness arises simultaneously and knows. That is: The previous aggregate is the moment of the knowable object, like a form with appearance, therefore it becomes with consciousness. In this way, the external object can also be correctly known, and can be clearly observed? This is unreasonable. Because there is no valid cognition here, there is no valid cognition that "non-appearing consciousness and object arise simultaneously." Therefore, it is temporarily impossible to enter with direct perception. If it is said that consciousness is valid cognition, but not sense consciousness, then, will consciousness become self-knowing, other-knowing, or both? If consciousness is self-knowing, then how can it know the object? If it is the nature of consciousness, then it is not the nature of the object. Self-knowing itself is not other-knowing, if that were the case, everything in the three realms would become consciousness. Therefore, in the aspect of self-knowing, it is impossible to touch the object. Or, if consciousness is other-knowing? Because there is no valid cognition that establishes the entity, so if oneself is not established, how can one say to know others? Or, if the object is naturally established through understanding, then, even in that case, inference can only arise for consciousness itself, who would put their mind on the unknowable object? If it is said that the object can be understood through inference, then this needs to be analyzed: What is "object through understanding" here? Is it direct perception or inference? If "object through understanding" is direct perception, then the point that consciousness exists as direct perception is not yet established, so how can it be known through it? Saying this is very good. Or, it is impossible to see or hear the object. Completely thinking about the unseen object is "object through understanding." If it is said like this, then one might think, what will direct perception think about? If the nature of intention is not understood, the valid cognition will not be completely cut off. This also needs to be examined, is it direct perception or inference? If it is direct perception, then you think that this itself is refuted. Why? If it is said that it is impossible to see the object, then "object through understanding" is very...
