Whoever becomes like that, in that Buddha-field, some Bodhisattvas think, if the Buddha-field were made of gold, they would be very happy, so they also see the Buddha-field made of gold; if they think the Buddha-field is made of silver, they also see the Buddha-field made of silver. The situation where others see the Buddha-field made of gold will not change. Similarly, made of beryl, made of crystal, made of red pearls, made of the essence of gems, made of coral, similarly, made of various precious materials, or made of sandalwood, or made of agarwood, or made of black agarwood, or made of Tamala leaves, or made of sandalwood snake heartwood, or made of red sandalwood, whatever they wish the Buddha-field to be made of, they will see the Buddha-field as that. They will not see different Buddha-fields from each other. In that Buddha-field, the Bodhi tree will emit light, and the Bodhisattvas themselves will also emit light, because the light shines everywhere, so the light of the sun and moon cannot appear, nor can the light of stars, gems, torches, lightning, or other beings appear. Those who like to be illuminated by light, those Buddha-fields are hundreds of thousands of millions, and they will be illuminated by light. In that Buddha-field, Bodhisattvas will make flowers open and close because of different thoughts. Whenever they want to enjoy the Dharma in what way, it will be as they wish, and apart from that, there is no name for day and night. In that Buddha-field, there is no cold and heat, no old age, sickness, and death. Any Bodhisattva who wants to attain perfect enlightenment will go to other worlds and abide in Tushita, and then attain perfect enlightenment. In the sky above that Buddha-field, countless pleasant musical instruments are always continuously making sounds. The sounds emitted by those musical instruments are not sounds related to desire, but sounds related to the other shore.

, as well as the sound of the Buddha, the sound of the Dharma, the sound of the Sangha, and the sound of the categories of Dharma in the Bodhisattva Pitaka will be emitted. Those Bodhisattvas, whatever sound they like, will hear that kind of sound. If those Bodhisattvas wish to behold the Tathagata, whether they are walking, standing, or staying, wherever they may be, as soon as the thought of wanting to see the Buddha arises in their minds, they will see the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, the All-Seeing Buddha, sitting under the Bodhi tree, right where they are. Having seen this, as soon as they see the Bhagavan, all their doubts, hesitations, uncertainties, and doubts about the Dharma will be dispelled. In order not to abandon, in order to fully understand the meaning of the Dharma phrases, I make this aspiration and prayer. Bhagavan, furthermore, I also make this aspiration: in the immeasurable, countless, and incalculable realms of the ten directions, all the qualities of the Buddha lands where the Bhagavans reside, the adornment of wish-fulfilling jewels, as well as the adornment of aspirations, characteristics, measures, conduct, and the form of the place, all the adornments of the Shravakas that I have seen, except for the Buddhas of the five degenerate ages, all of these will be integrated and contained within my one Buddha land. Bhagavan, if I were to begin to describe the qualities and adornments of my Buddha land for as many kalpas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, in various different ways, in an unobstructed manner, or even for a longer time than that, I would still not be able to exhaust the qualities and adornments of the Buddha land. From then on, all the infinite prayers that I have made will be completely fulfilled, naturally accomplished, and become great without being inverted, and this is the great prayer. In order to teach those who come later, they should also make aspirations like those initially spoken by the venerable Manjushri (འཇམ་དཔལ་, Mañjuśrī), and that is why I have explained it in a little more detail.

The excellent wisdom of the Bodhisattva's stage is the practice of surpassing the perfection of strength. It is called great strength, and where great strength exists, that is great strength. In that, the Bodhisattva's stage possesses the ten strengths of the Bodhisattva, and the Tathagata's stage possesses the ten strengths of the Tathagata. The ten strengths of the Bodhisattva are taught in the Sutra of the Collection of Righteous Dharmas. What are they? They are: the strength of faith, the strength of discernment, the strength of meditation, the strength of patience, the strength of wisdom, the strength of renunciation, the strength of hearing, the strength of fearlessness, the strength of merit, and the strength of accomplishment. What is the strength of faith? It is that whatever a Bodhisattva believes, it will come to pass as he believes. This strength of faith cannot be overcome by the world with its gods. This is called the strength of faith of the Bodhisattva. What is the strength of discernment of the Bodhisattva? It is that when a Bodhisattva generates desire, he pacifies it by meditating on ugliness. When he generates hatred, he pacifies it by meditating on loving-kindness. When he generates ignorance, he pacifies it by meditating on dependent origination. He completely pacifies scolding and unpleasant words by knowing them to be like echoes. He pacifies killing, binding, and imprisonment by knowing them to be the masters of karma. He pacifies threats, harm, and weakness to the body by knowing them to be like reflections. Thus, no matter how many doors of affliction arise, the Bodhisattva also sees an equal number of doors of purification. This is called the strength of discernment of the Bodhisattva. What is the strength of meditation of the Bodhisattva? It is that those dharmas that obstruct the Bodhisattva in the realm he practices with faith and in the realm he sees cannot obstruct that Bodhisattva. The world with its gods cannot separate him from that which he sees and from that path. This is called the strength of meditation of the Bodhisattva. What is the strengt
