Not in the earth realm, Not clinging to the wind realm, that is discipline. Not clinging to the characteristics of the eye, not clinging to the characteristics of form (color, shape), likewise not to the ear, not to sound, not to the nose, not to smell, not to the tongue, not to taste, not to the body, not to touch, and not clinging to the characteristics of the mind, that is discipline. Not clinging to body, speech, and mind, that is discipline. For the sake of a single goal, the nature of tranquility, that is discipline. Being skilled in distinguishing dharmas, the nature of insight, that is discipline. Realizing emptiness, and the limits of characteristics, without aspiration and not mixed with the three realms, that is discipline. For the unmanifested, the birth distinguished by birth, patience, that is discipline. For the unmade and the uncreated, that is discipline. For not appearing at the prior end, and not moving to the later end, and not dwelling in the middle, that is discipline. For the mind without defilement, and not dwelling in consciousness, and not mixed with attention, that is discipline. Not relying on the desire realm, and not dwelling in the form realm, and not abiding in the formless realm, that is discipline. Without the dust of desire, and eliminating harmful thoughts, harshness, faults, and anger, and without the darkness of ignorance and unawareness, that is discipline. For impermanence, and without cessation, and not contradicting dependent origination, that is discipline. For no self-grasping, and abandoning self-grasping, and not dwelling in the view of the perishable aggregate, that is discipline. Not clinging to names and terms, and not dwelling in the nature of form (color, shape), and not mixed with name and form, that is discipline. Without the latent tendencies of afflictions, and views and latent tendencies not arising, and not dwelling in obstacles and regret, that is discipline. For desire, the place of the root of unwholesomeness is not, and hatred, the place of the root of unwholesomeness is not, and ignorance, the root of unwholesomeness the place is not, that is discipline. For no unwholesomeness and no complete suffering and extreme purification
