The mind of the deluded ignorance of the possessor is the mind of ignorance. It is clinging to what appears to be inverted. It has not comprehended the selflessness of phenomena that exists as it is. After comprehending the selflessness of phenomena, in order to realize self and other, the root of ignorance belonging to the continuum of self and other, along with all that is completely eradicated, therefore it is the mind of ignorance, that is, eliminating ignorance. It should be said like this. Similarly, the great offering is great ignorance (great delusion). Just as the mantra for dispelling epidemics is called the mantra of epidemics, the sound that reveals emptiness is called the sound of emptiness. Here, too, the Great Illuminator (Vairocana Buddha) with emptiness as the forerunner, arises from the wheel of the syllable Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) above the lunar disc, is the nature of great ignorance, possessing golden color, four faces, eight arms, the first face yellow, the right face black, the left face white, the back face red, both hands holding the supreme mudra of enlightenment, the right hands holding a vajra, an arrow, and a sword, the left hands holding a bell, a scripture, and a rope, abiding in the vajra full lotus posture. From all the pores of the hair emanate clouds of Tathagatas, thereby dispelling the darkness of ignorance belonging to the continuum of all sentient beings, one should contemplate establishing it as the nature of Buddhahood. The Great Wrathful One is the evil planets such as the sun and the nagas, etc., because they abide with the intention of malice towards sentient beings, therefore they are great terrors. Because wrath completely eradicates all wrath, it is the great cutter, the Great Wrathful One is the Vajra Wisdom. Because all wrath has become the enemy, therefore the Great Wrathful One, great wrath is the meaningful accomplisher, body color green, four faces and eight arms, the first face gnashing teeth, color green, the right face yellow, the left face white, the back face red, the right hands holding a sword, a vajra, an arrow, and an iron hook, the left hand making a threatening mudra towards the malicious ones, holding a bell, a bow, and a rope, abiding with the left leg extended. From all the pores of the hair emanate flames of wrath, burning all the afflictive wrath and habitual tendencies belonging to the continuum of all sentient beings, thereby completely eliminating afflictions, that is

Think of placing them thoroughly in the enlightenment of the Buddhas. The great attachment is: ignorance, pride, self, extreme attachment to what is mine, and also that which is called I and also yeshe, by eliminating the manifest clinging to self and what is mine, all attachments are eliminated. It is said, therefore, great offering is great attachment. Here also, the great offering, the great attachment, is the Bhagavan Ratnasambhava, with a golden body, four faces and eight arms. The colors of the faces are: yellow, black, white and red. In the right and left hands are held a vajra, a sword, an arrow, an iron hook, a victory banner of wish-fulfilling jewel, a bell, a bow, and a lasso. Seated in the royal posture. From all the pores of the hair comes forth a cloud of Ratnasambhava, fulfilling all the wishes of sentient beings as they desire, raining down jewels and so forth, pacifying the dust of attachment, and making sentient beings free from attachment. One should think of joining those who have been freed from attachment to the Buddha himself. Why is this union done in this way? Because in other tantras it is said: "All Buddhas are born from desire, likewise they are born from delusion and hatred." And so forth. It is to show that it is reasonable to explain it in this way. Otherwise, desire, hatred, ignorance, anger, and attachment are the flawless cause of samsara and are the nature of discrimination, so how can becoming enlightened itself become the cause of a dog? If it is said that it is transformed by combining with skillful means, then, when it is completely grasped by skillful means, does it transform from the previous nature or does it not? If it transforms from the previous nature, then, if that is the case, if that is the case, then, by that special substance giving rise to another substance, one attains Buddhahood, which is what we also desire. However, if one looks at the second alternative, then it is contradictory for a reversed result to arise from a flawless cause. Or, just as the toxicity of poison is removed, having removed the defilement that has become the cause of samsara, then desire and so forth are also empty by their own nature.
