In order to show that other impure beings cannot attain liberation except for the liberation of solitary Buddhas and perfectly complete Buddhas, (the text says:) "The three liberations are those who travel." So, what is its essence? It is the venerable Manjushri (འཇམ་དཔལ་, Mañjuśrī), who has become the most excellent place of veneration for beings. He himself is the most excellent one with glory. How is it known? It is known from what is said, "The meaning of the supreme is perfectly pure." Those have also become the good fortune of the three realms, and because they perfectly accomplish all the perfections that all beings desire, they are the glorious ones who accomplish all wealth. Therefore, beings must travel the three liberations, because he alone is the most excellent place of veneration for beings, and there is no other besides him, this is certain. There is no fault in believing that he is also the nature of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Now, in the manner of summarizing all the meanings of the characteristics, in order to show that the Bhagavan is worthy of being offered in all ways, and in order to understand that all names are the nature of the true meaning, with the difference of five verses of homage, in order to offer the Tathagata and the assembly together with the mandala of his retinue, (the text says:) "Supreme Giver, Vajra Supreme, I salute you!" and so on. Among them, Supreme Giver Vajra is the venerable Manjushri (འཇམ་དཔལ་, Mañjuśrī), because he bestows the supreme Buddha himself, therefore he is the Supreme Giver. Because the Supreme Giver is indivisible like a vajra, therefore he is the Vajra. Because he himself is the Supreme, that is, the lord of all, therefore it is his true praise, that is, "Supreme Giver, Vajra Supreme, I salute you!" Thus it is said. The true limit is suchness, therefore it is said: To you, the one who has become the true limit, I salute and prostrate. "Born from emptiness, I salute you!" Among them, born from emptiness, because it arises from emptiness, therefore it is born from emptiness. Or, the essence of emptiness

That which exists therein is called that, because it possesses the essence of emptiness. Homage to the distinction of Buddha's enlightenment! The name for this is the same as before. Buddha's enlightenment is Buddha's enlightenment, connecting it in this way, or because of what is it Buddha's enlightenment, it is called that, although there is no difference, it is a particularly close imputation. Homage to the attachment of the Buddhas! The name for this is what is attachment and extreme clinging to the Buddhas, or what is manifest clinging to the attachment of the Buddhas, connecting it in this way. Or, since it is both Buddha and attachment, it is Buddha attachment, because that suchness is understood, and the attachment of the Buddha is to make all beings rejoice. Homage to the desire of the Buddhas! The name for this is that the desire of the Buddhas is manifest attachment, which is manifest expectation for beings. Because it has become its nature, it is Buddha desire. Or, because it is desired by the Buddhas, it is Buddha desire, or wanting to become a Buddha, because the nature of the Buddhas, Samantabhadra, etc., is greatly shown as desired. Homage to the joy of the Buddhas! Homage to the play of the Buddhas! The name for this is that because it is the joy of the Buddhas and the play of the Buddhas, it is joy and play for the Buddhas. Or, joy is Lasya, and play is Male. Homage to the smile of the Buddhas! Homage to the laughter of the Buddhas! The name for this is that the smile of the Buddhas is the opening of the lotus of the face because that suchness is understood. The laughter of the Buddha is the difference of the light of wisdom that shows a very rare meaning and shows the sign of the prediction of the great Bodhisattva. Homage to the very speech of the Buddhas! Homage to the mind of the Buddhas! The name for this is that the speech of the Buddha is like the cause of showing the Dharma, entering for the sake of taming beings, or, the speech of the Buddha is of four kinds, namely, wrathful, clear, vajra, and subtle speech.
