Transforming into the earth, they fully ripen the gods of the Brahma realm with extremely peaceful samadhi and immeasurable words. When sentient beings are to be tamed by Shravakas, but not by Pratyekabuddhas or Buddhas, they transform into the form of a Shravaka and teach the Dharma in order to end suffering and attain Nirvana. When sentient beings are to be tamed by Pratyekabuddhas, but not by Shravakas or Buddhas, they transform into the form of a Pratyekabuddha and perfectly reveal the path of Pratyekabuddha's Bodhi. They fully ripen sentient beings with words of solitude, words of detachment from desire, samadhi, samapatti and absorption, liberation, the words of miraculous feet, the words of empowerment for great benefactors, the words of reliance, and the manner of liberation. When sentient beings are to be tamed by Bodhisattvas, they abide in their own form and fully ripen those sentient beings with the six Paramitas, the four blessings, great love, great compassion, Dharani, power, patience, and the words of the earth. When sentient beings are to be tamed by Buddhas, and their faculties and realms become vast and expansive, they transform into the form of a Buddha and fully ripen those sentient beings with the words of the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the unmixed Dharmas of the Buddha, and the great miracles of the Buddha's miraculous powers. When sentient beings are to be tamed by a vast Buddha-field, the realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds is as flat and soft as the palm of the hand, as comfortable to the touch as a Kacalindika, becoming blue lapis lazuli, becoming crystal, becoming the essence of sandalwood transformation, becoming the gold of the Jambudvipa river, without stones, gravel, or tiles, without high or low places, without falling into evil destinies, without women walking, without black mountains, adorned with mountains of various jewels, without thorns, ravines, or cliffs, the jewels of

Having beautified with flower trees and various incense trees, they emanate and cause those sentient beings to fully mature. When sentient beings are subdued by the vast essence of enlightenment, then a Bodhi tree of twelve yojanas in height is manifestly emanated, with roots that are extremely firm, the trunk is Jambu River gold, the branches are gold, silver, coral, lapis lazuli, and various precious jewels are used to beautify it. Hundreds and thousands of daughters of the gods reside there, emanating and causing those sentient beings to fully mature. When sentient beings are subdued by a vast retinue, then gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, Indra, Brahma, world-protectors, and those with great splendor are emanated, as well as shravakas who have individually attained perfect knowledge and are liberated from both extremes, and bodhisattvas abiding on the ten bhumis who have attained the samadhi of heroic progress are emanated, causing those sentient beings to fully mature. Sons of good family, these ten ways of entering the Dharma should comprehend the great emanations of the bodhisattvas. Thus, although skilled and proficient in accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings with all forms, because they do not possess the faults of the habitual tendencies of samsara, they have transcended the hermitage of existence. The sole teacher is the guide of beings. Thus it is said, existence is samsara. Because it is the source of all faults, it is a hermitage; therefore, whoever has transcended such a hermitage is called thus. By guiding with miracles and transformations, and subsequently showing the Mahayana, therefore he is the teacher. Because there is no second, he is the only one. Because he is the teacher, he is the guru of the guru of beings. Because the giving of Dharma is the most supreme among the giving of Dharma, wealth, fearlessness, and love, therefore, in order to show its excellence, it is widely known in the ten directions of the world, and is the great benefactor of the Dharma. Thus it is said, fame is that which has become widely known, is the Dharma.

He is known as the great benefactor. Where is he known? It is said, "In the ten directions of the world," meaning that in all directions of the ten directions, wherever there are sentient beings and the vessel world, he is known as the great benefactor by those who possess excellent wisdom. In order to show how he manifests to overcome afflictions, ignorance, and the enemies of demons, it is said: Adorned with the armor of love, clad in the chainmail of compassion. It means that the collection of wisdom is bound and worn, which becomes adorned with the armor of love; because it is the nature of being fond of immersing in great compassion, it is chainmail, clad in such great compassion's chainmail. Because external weapons cannot overcome afflictions and ignorance, in order to show that he possesses excellent weapons, it is said: Holding the bow and arrow of the sword of wisdom. It means holding the bow and arrow of the sword of wisdom, and that is what it is said. So, having put on armor and clad in chainmail, and holding weapons, what will he do? In order to show what he does, it is said: Eliminating the battlefield of afflictions and ignorance. It means afflictions and ignorance have been explained before, so they are not mentioned here. Moreover, the army of afflictions is surrounded by countless harms, and the king of ignorance destroys and torments beings, so it is a battlefield. Destroying it and making it completely disappear, so it is said: Eliminating the battlefield of afflictions and ignorance. Thus, for the time being, he will surely overcome the inner afflictions, and in order to show how to repel and destroy the outer sons of gods and demons, it is said, "Hero," and so on. Whoever the demons have become enemies, or is the enemy of demons, so he is the enemy of demons. Because he has overcome the demons, he is the subduer of demons. Therefore, because he possesses the diligence to surely repel the enemies of inner and outer nature, he is a hero. Subdued by the power of Brahma, Mahadeva, and Vishnu.
