It is not that night enters and day does not enter. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. Since the Dharma never stays anywhere, it does not transcend the Dharma of discipline. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. Since the Dharma has no desire for anything, it is not jealous of any appearances, nor is it attached to any faiths. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. The Dharma is neither diminished nor filled. Because it is immeasurable and countless, like the sky, it is neither diminished nor increased. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. It is not that sentient beings protect the Dharma, but that the Dharma protects sentient beings. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. The Dharma does not seek refuge. The Dharma is the refuge of all worlds. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. The Dharma is characterized by unobstructedness, so the Dharma has no obstruction anywhere. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. The Dharma does not allow latent tendencies. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. The Dharma is always non-conceptual, so the Dharma is not afraid of samsara, nor is it attached to nirvana. Likewise, I should also cultivate a mind similar to the Dharma. Thus, the Bodhisattva abides in mindfulness of the Dharma. Therefore, it is called mindfulness of the Dharma. Son of good family, this is the Bodhisattva's mindfulness of the Dharma. What is the Bodhisattva's mindfulness of the Sangha? Here, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: The Sangha is the speaker of the Dharma, the practitioner of the Dharma, the thinker of the Dharma, the field of the Dharma, the holder of the Dharma, the one who relies on the Dharma, the one who makes offerings to the Dharma, the one who does the work of the Dharma, the Dharma -acting realm, the practitioner of the Dharma, the one who is complete, the one who is naturally upright, the one who is naturally pure, the one who possesses the Dharma of compassion, the one who possesses compassion, the one who always acts for benefit, the one who is always diligent in the Dharma, the one who always acts purely. Thus he thinks. Furthermore,

The Bodhisattva thinks thus: The Blessed One has spoken of various kinds of Sangha, such as: the conventional Sangha, the ultimate Sangha, the Sangha with shame, the Sangha without shame, the noble Sangha, the Sangha with conscience, and the irreversible Sangha. Therefore, the Bodhisattva strives to gather the conventional Sangha. He strives to rely on the ultimate Sangha. He strives to completely tame the Sangha without shame. He serves with reverence to worship and honor the noble Sangha. He strives for the Sangha with conscience as if it were the Buddha. He strives for the irreversible Sangha for the sake of Dharma talks. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: For the sake of upholding the lineage, it is the Sangha of the sons of the Buddhas. For the sake of abundantly bestowing desirable fruits, it is the Sangha of good fields. For the sake of being free from bad rebirths, it is the Sangha of the fearless. For the sake of relinquishing and abandoning grasping, it is the Sangha of those whose minds are liberated. For the sake of being extremely tamed, it is the Sangha of the conscientious. For the sake of being unmixed, it is the Sangha of those without afflictions. For the sake of being free from sin, it is the Sangha of the ashamed. For the sake of being easy to instruct, it is the Sangha of the disciples. For the sake of possessing complete self-knowledge, it is the Sangha of those without self-ownership. For the sake of being peaceful, it is the Sangha of those without pride. For the sake of having few desires, it is the Sangha of the inverted. For the sake of completely cutting off conceptual thoughts, it is the Sangha of the healthy. For the sake of reaching the other shore, it is the Sangha of those who abide in emptiness. For the sake of abiding in emptiness, it is the Sangha of those who have attained bliss. For the sake of seeing Suchness, it is the Sangha of the mindful. For the sake of not accumulating faults, it is the Sangha of those in solitary places. For the sake of being vast, it is the Sangha of those who are inclined towards Bodhi. For the sake of knowing the activities of the three trainings, it is the Sangha of those who desire training.
