I, the Bodhisattva, do not make sentient beings, do not make different vehicles, do not make different Buddha-fields. I do not truly see inferior, superior, bondage, liberation, samsara, or nirvana. There is no abandonment, no grasping, no entering, no leaving, no taking, no discarding. One sees the unmoving and abides. Bodhisattvas, great beings, abiding in peace, in different Buddha-fields, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who dwell, having seen them, predict them for unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. This is called the Bodhisattva's Dharma mindfulness. What is the Bodhisattva's mindfulness of the Buddha's recollection? Here, the Bodhisattva cultivates the mindfulness of the Buddha's recollection, making all sentient beings manifest, thinking, 'I too, for the sake of all sentient beings, will perfectly accomplish unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment.' Thus, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddhas, the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly enlightened ones, I shall accomplish,' thus establishing mindfulness. By that mindfulness, the mindfulness of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, is inconceivable, immaculate, pure, luminous, without latent tendencies, all connections of habitual tendencies completely severed, preceded by wisdom, controlled by wisdom, controlled by all Buddhas, controlled by Dharma, controlled by the gods, having obtained all certainties, without the stain of the obscuration of knowledge, not understood by all Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, naturally non-conceptual, spontaneously accomplished, power unobstructed, abiding without hindrance, fully increasing the intentions of all sentient beings, like the sky, the recollections of the Buddhas, which are without change, those are recollected. Recollecting the precious, the wealth of the Buddhas, the treasury of the Buddhas, those are recollected. Therefore, it is called the recollection of the Buddha. Buddha is neither recollection nor non-recollection.
