It is so. In all the realms of the ten directions of space, by raising the banner of Dharma-giving, it is shown that a great meaning is being established. Therefore, it is said: At the edge of the ten directions of space, the victory banner of Dharma is well established. In order to ward off the oppression of rainfall and heat, and to create shade to pacify all weariness and afflictions. Because it is like an umbrella, it is called an umbrella. Because it can pervade all beings and create shade, and it can eliminate the rain of suffering and the torment of afflictions, it is the single umbrella for beings. It is the nature of the single umbrella that pervades all beings, and it covers in a way that compassion and love encompass it, so it is said: The single umbrella for beings is vast, possessing the mandala of love and compassion. Like a lotus, it is not stained by the mud even though it dwells in it. It does not dwell in the faults of samsara, and it rejoices in the way that beings are tamed, and in the postures, ornaments, coquetry, and other dances that are in accordance with them. The face, teeth, eyes, and eyebrows show various expressions, and the tips of the hands and feet dance, showing the dance in a coquettish manner, and it tames all beings, so it is said: Glorious Lord of the Lotus Dance. Because it has wealth and light, and it increases joy, it is a jewel. It is the umbrella that has the nature of the Three Jewels, so it is said: Great All-Pervading Jewel Umbrella. That is, it has become the nature of the Lord of All, the Jewel-Born One. Since it is both Buddha and all, it is said: All Buddhas, such as the Immovable One. In the midst of them, it is adorned in the manner of the Great Vairocana, so it is said: Great King of All Buddhas. Because it perfects the activities of all Buddhas with the nature of accomplishing meaning, it is said: Holder of the Body of All Buddhas. Great yogi, great place of birth, abode of all Buddhas, inexhaustible. Thus it is said, because it abides with the nature of the Immovable One, it is said: Great Yoga of All Buddhas. Or again:
