The unsurpassed giver. That which is called "giver" means that the doctor is excellent, the doctor is also that, and the great one is also that same one, so the doctor is excellent, which means the great king of doctors. It is because it destroys all diseases such as desire. Excellent means that for the sake of completely pacifying the disease of ignorance, it gives the medicine of the unerring secret instruction, therefore it is called excellent. For that very reason, it is called the chief, because it manifests all beings. The one who extracts the dart is the one who extracts the dart. Endowed with the manner of extracting the dart, because it extracts the dart of desire and so forth from the hearts of all sentient beings, it thoroughly teaches the antidote, the nature of reality, just as it is. For that very reason, it is called unsurpassed, that is, the Bhagavan Manjushri. All medicines are trees of the forest, the great enemy of all diseases. That which is called "all medicines are trees of the forest" means that all the medicines without exception are medicines. The forest of those is that all medicines are trees of the forest. Why? Because the Bhagavan appeared as the great king of medicines for the sake of benefiting and subduing all beings. Thus it is also said: Those became great forests of solitude. The great enemy of all diseases is afflictions such as desire, that is the disease, therefore it is all diseases. The great enemy of those is that it thoroughly teaches the antidote, the nature of reality. Beautiful in the three realms of adornment, possessing a glorious constellation wheel. That which is called "adornment," its meaning has already been explained. Beautiful in the three realms means that it is not the same as all beings, therefore it is the crown jewel of the three realms, that is, the Shakyamuni, therefore it is said thus. Glorious is the same. The constellation wheel is the wheel of the constellations and so forth. Possessing such a form, the Bhagavan is the constellation wheel, because it is its nature. In the ten directions, at the edge of the sky, it perfectly establishes the banner of the Dharma. That which is called "ten directions," the sky of the ten directions is the sky of the ten directions, that is, complete.
