The single sound in the three realms originates from the very Tantra of the Three Realms' Victory. The three realms are the underground, above ground, and surface of the earth. Among them, the sound that is single and without duality is uttered, and that which corresponds to it is the single sound in the three realms. 'The sound proclaims the endless expanse of the sky.' This is from the very Tantra of Noble Manjushri. When the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha commanded Yamantaka, for the benefit of all sentient beings, at the time when Manjushri revealed the method of mantra on top of the three thousand great thousand worlds, the Bhagavan Yamantaka resided on the very peak of Mount Sumeru. He uttered only one great sound. With that sound, he made the endless expanse of the sky correctly understood by the sound of hearing. Then he spoke: 'The sound proclaims the endless expanse of the sky.' Therefore, the Bhagavan is the supreme among those who possess sound, where the sound exists, in whom it exists, those are the possessors of sound. Among the possessors of sound, it means the most excellent and supreme. Then now, the playful ritual of the Third Wheel is shown, from the letter of the heart of the Wisdom Sattva of all the Tathagatas. The Bhagavan Manjushri, in order to subdue sentient beings who engage in anger, visualizing the form of the wrathful deity as described in the Yoga, Practice, and Action Tantras, for the purpose of subduing the three realms, those also emerge from his own body, possessing the essence of all-consuming fire. The waves of wrathful frowns between the eyebrows move, a frowning forehead, possessing a face with terrifying fangs bared. Vajra, iron hook, and lasso, etc., marked with hand gestures of Vajra blazing fire, possessing various colors and ornaments, the wrathful deity's form holding various kinds of attire is completely manifested, and in all the realms of the world, all the malicious ones are subdued. And again returning, on the second mandala outside the Vajradhatu mandala, the seventy-one letters of the name mantras, transformed into the colors and forms of their own families, abide authentically in the order as it is.
