One's own marks and essence, taking pride in them, and through methods such as gathering emanations, transforming into the body of a deity, and being blessed with vows and the great mudra, entering the mandala of emanations and receiving empowerment. Merely upholding the vajra conduct, through the stages of abiding in oneself, one is connected to the great yoga. Then, there, in the center of the vajra that has penetrated one's own heart essence, write the heart essence of one's own deity, called Samaya. Then, make the mudra. "One's own" refers to the body of the wrathful deity. Others say it is the body of an ordinary person. Still others say it is the yoga generated when the guru first bestows the vajra. Because it possesses protection, it is appropriate to meditate on the body of the deity. Once the body of the deity is accomplished, it is protected by itself, so the first statement should be taken. "The vajra that has penetrated one's own heart essence" refers to the heart, meaning penetrating into the heart, initially given when the guru bestows the vajra, flowing from the guru's heart and penetrating here. The vajra refers to the vajra of the great Vajradhara. Its center refers to the inside of the navel. The heart essence of one's own deity refers to Vajrasattva (藏文:བཛྲ་ཏྭ་,梵文天城体:वज्रसत्त्व,梵文罗马拟音:Vajrasattva,汉语字面意思:金刚萨埵) and so on. The meaning of this is that if one knows from elsewhere that the heart is the place of mantra, one will attain accomplishment. The root tantra also says, "Abiding in the heart that accomplishes samadhi, therefore it is called heart essence." Here, samadhi is also great yoga. Others say that here it refers to realizing one's own heart, because etymologically, the sound of gada is confused with realization. That realization is also Dorje, that is, Vajrasattva, peaceful, white in color, holding a vajra and bell. Its center refers to the moon in its heart. If done in this way, Vajrasattva is like a mirror, pure, clear, and without defilement, the lord of all Buddhas, oneself resides in the heart of the son. And so on, it is also fitting. Through this, one can also transform into the body of the deity one desires. Similarly, wish-fulfilling jewels and so on are also each great bodhisattvas. Some say that where there is no harm, there is no need to quote other treatises, so it is very fitting. So-called Samaya written,

Here, I think the word "Samaya" refers to multiple meanings. From the collection of multiple meanings, "Samaya" means to practice equality as it is, to accomplish the ultimate and perfection, and to elaborate on other rules to be followed, such as symbols, time, and language. It's like this kind of elaboration. So, what should be particularly noted here? Some people praise perfection. They say that the essence of the deities, perfect in color and radiance, should be written on the moon as if written with melted lapis lazuli. Others praise equality, believing that letters that are neither increased nor decreased and are equal in writing should be written. Some believe that this refers to the vows that should be kept, just as when practicing this kind of samadhi, visualizing the heart essence in the heart is a vow that must be kept. Because one should not transcend the realm of cause, it is called a vow. As it is said, "Not transgressing the realm of cause is called a vow." Therefore, in order not to transcend the realm of action of the cause of accomplishing samadhi, one should write and visualize with the mind. Therefore, "Maya" can be understood as both realization and the vows that should be kept, so some say that one should write with realization or with vows. Although everything is related to meaning, if guided according to behavior, it can encompass everything, so it is worthy of praise. The so-called "visualizing oneself as the form of the deity" is like becoming the body of the heart mudra, and the lord of its basis also becomes the body of the deity, because the agent and the object are non-dual. The so-called "entering the mandala matured in the heart with the mind" is the second manifestation of the body. It is like the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, showing the manifestation of the body teaching the Dharma to the hermits residing in his own pores. The so-called "that rosary is also on one's own head" is because it exists within both mandalas, so it is necessary to visualize the external environment directly in front of the heart, in order to cover the place like where one previously accumulated merit. The so-called "the unbinding vow vajra, also liberating into the heart with this called Tishta Vajra (Tibetan: ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ, Sanskrit Devanagari: तिष्ठ वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: tiṣṭha vajra, Chinese literal meaning: Abiding Vajra)", this is said in the root tantra, when the master enters the mandala, repeatedly guiding with the right middle finger of this half-mudra, thereby causing the deity to descend upon oneself. Therefore, it is the same here as well.
