La, holding the vajra fist of the left hand, take the five-pronged vajra dagger, recite Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), and generate five kila at the four corners of the mandala and the center of the mandala. Strike with the right hand made into the three-pronged vajra, and recite these words: Oṃ gha gha ghātaya ghātaya sarva duṣṭān phaṭ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་གྷ་གྷ་གྷཱ་ཏ་ཡ་གྷཱ་ཏ་ཡ་སརྦ་དུཥྚཱན་ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ घ घ घातय घातय सर्व दुष्टान् फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ gha gha ghātaya ghātaya sarva duṣṭān phaṭ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, strike, strike, destroy, destroy, all evil ones, phaṭ). Kilaya kilaya sarva pāpaṃ phaṭ (Tibetan: ཀི་ལ་ཡ་ཀི་ལ་ཡ་སརྦ་པཱ་པཾ་ཕཊཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: किलय किलय सर्व पापं फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: kilaya kilaya sarva pāpaṃ phaṭ, Chinese literal meaning: Kilaya, kilaya, all sins, phaṭ). Then place the vase of cleansing water, fully recited with the Vajra Yaksha, at the door of the mandala. With the action mudrā of the vajra fist, make all protections firm, and wear the vajra armor. That is, in the preliminary practice of the binding ritual, it is said: "The vajra fist is extremely firm, wearing the vajra armor, protect the mandala from all sides." That is what is said. Again, sit in the center of the mandala, fully examine the mandala, apply fragrant water to the location of the mandala, and at the location of the five Tathāgatas, make the mandala square with sandalwood and saffron, etc., and make the remaining parts round, and recite each of their mantras seven times. Then, from the direction of the sky, invite the Tathāgatas, etc., and perform abiding, binding, and pleasing, etc., and place them in your heart, and offer them well with the five offerings. Then fill the empowerment vase with all things such as grains, pour in a little water, offer the offering water recited with Vajrasattva, etc., put in fragrant water and flowers, fumigate with incense, and abide especially according to the ritual. On the second day, recite correctly in three sessions, and thus perform the empowerment. Again, recite in the mandala, and the great master should know those characteristics described below, and place them in front of Vajrasattva. Then, offer clarified butter, etc., to Vajra Yaksha, Vajrasattva, and Buddha Eye, one by one. This is the fire offering ritual of special abiding. Then, give the torma to the outside, make contact, praise with the one hundred and eight names, and offer the Tathāgatas with flowers, etc., and coquetry, etc.

Offerings should be made to the lama, and after prostrating, the disciple should be established. First, one should bathe well and wear clean clothes. A disciple holding flowers in their hands should prostrate to the teacher and be made to say these words: Great Bliss, you are my teacher. Lama, please listen. To show the conduct of a Bodhisattva, I seek the great protector. Please grant me that samaya, and also grant me bodhichitta. Please grant me the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. I wish to enter the supreme city of great liberation. Then, have them do confession and so on. Having well gathered all thoughts, listen with a very good intention. With words and thoughts of Vajrasattva and others, the Sugatas will not fail to bless. Whatever non-virtue I have done involuntarily, or rejoiced in, or done, or encouraged, all of these, in the presence of the supreme Bodhi, I confess individually without omission. For the sake of the deep two accumulations of the Sugata's sons, and for the benefit of all beings without exception, I always rejoice in accomplishing and other than that. May you have a heart pervaded by compassion, wisdom without defilement, destroying all collections of ignorance. I take refuge in the Sugatas who dwell within the lotus of all lineages. The great joy of the supreme wise ones, the garden that conquers the fears of the inferior, the supreme one who subdues the prosperity of existence, I take refuge in the supreme speech, the Dharma. Destroying the poison of the serpent of desire and so on, the wise ones victorious, possessing great compassion, I take refuge in the assembly of excellent discipline, and I prostrate to those who are free from existence. Following the cause, possessing the place of the master, conquering enemies with the power of the result, the root of compassion planted, truly realizing, I take hold of the unequaled Bodhi. In order to fully ripen sentient beings, or in order to fully protect them, or in order to purify one's own mind, all these are abandoned like grass. Likewise, discipline, patience, diligence, and meditation, wisdom, are unsurpassed.
