The sound called "Gapa" is the proof of reason; the path of the Bodhisattva and its fruit is the Mahayana. To rejoice in this is to abide manifestly. The phrase "the path of the Hearers" means to go by the path of the Hearer's vehicle, which means to be without skillful means. The phrase "not knowing the Great Vehicle" means not truly knowing the characteristics of mantra. If asked what the difference is? The phrase "the secret itself is collected" is said, meaning that the secret should be known in the sound of meaning, and wherever they are collected, it is called that. The phrase "not slandering the scriptures" means to harm the characteristics of the mantra path. The "above mentioned" and so on, refers to the teacher practitioner who possesses the characteristics of the teachings and so on, who should be accepted and pleased. The phrase "the Lama is equal to all Buddhas" and so on, means that it is said that one should be diligent towards the teacher, and that one should regard the five families, such as the Tathagatas, as one's own family lord, and the five verses such as "equal to all Buddhas" are the explanation. The phrase "faults diminish the accomplishments" means that because faults are clung to, accomplishments will be diminished. The phrase "in dreams" and so on, shows that slandering the teacher is a very serious offense, that is, despising the holy ones and those with malicious thoughts. The word "faith" refers to those who have reverence. Entering the path of mantra and so on, is entered through the relationship between teacher and disciple, so it is called entering, therefore, in the chapter of the scripture that explains it, it is also expressed as "the order of entering." The explanation of the first chapter is complete. If a disciple establishes a connection with the teacher, he must enter the mandala, therefore, from then on, the second chapter, the Mandala Chapter, is taught. The phrase "from then on" means immediately after, and should be connected to "the Bhagavan spoke to Vajradhara." If asked what he did, he said "Great Illusion" and so on, the yoga wisdom of the Great Illusion is the wisdom of the gods' transformation.
