Through recitation, the mandala is stabilized. Then, with the union of the Vajra Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) mudrā, appearing from the outside, together with the Blessed One, the sentient beings who come from the ten directions, for all appearances, give as if offering directional torma, touch them, and then re-enter, perform the fire offering, and it should also be known that offerings are made with mudrās and the responses of mudrās. Offering those, etc., for the offerings mentioned above, those possessing the nature of skillful means, hearing and seeing that they will turn into the benefit of sentient beings, opening eyes of wonder, and greatly proclaiming "Good!", this is extreme joy. Emaho, etc., emaho is wonder. Who is amazed? All Buddhas. What is amazing? It is skillful means. Skillful means is the chapter that speaks of the ultimate offering. Why? Because it is said that the Buddha attained enlightenment, in order to attain that. By what? By meditating on the Vajra. Meditating on the Vajra is meditating on Vairochana Buddha, etc. The practitioner is the remaining part. What is the difference of that? It is said that there is no difficulty, no difficulty, that is, the means of being free from all afflictions, by this one attains enlightenment, understands all dharmas as they are, and directly realizes them. Vajra Mahayana, etc., the Vajra Vehicle unsurpassed, manifested by the Blessed One Vairochana, is the Great Vehicle, because it is free from all stains of discrimination, therefore it is said to be good. How the nature of understanding is, that also is the excellent teaching of the selflessness of phenomena and persons. That also, because all thoughts cannot be thought, therefore it is profound and stable, because it pervades all knowable mandalas, therefore it is vast, and that also abides by subduing all those to be tamed by the speaker, therefore it is good. For that unimpeded Tathagata, etc., the collection of jewels, that gathering is also the ultimate in being close to accomplishing the benefit of the supreme person.
