With two fingers properly joined, this is called karma, the mudra of karma. How is it done? "Completely placing in the heart" means holding towards the heart of oneself and others, which destroys all unpleasant karma. "Byabpa" means to "byabpa" the object to be accomplished with this mudra, and in this way everything will be destroyed. "The fingertips should be pressed" means that with this mudra, the fingertips of two fingers should be pressed on the patient, and in this way the disease will be destroyed. "Completely placing with laughter" means holding the burden with that mudra in a laughing manner, and in this way all sorrow will be destroyed. "Completely encircling, similarly placing on the brow" means tying that mudra, completely encircling and holding on the brow, and in this way all suffering will be destroyed. "The vajra knot of two khatvangas" means tying two khatvangas with two hands, which is called the vajra knot of two khatvangas. Through it, in a joyful manner, the two little fingers make a gesture of excellent generosity, and in this way all poisons and mixed poisons will burn. Everything will be subdued. The mudra called "Drinking Fingernails" involves rubbing the fingernails of the two fingers of the Vajra Subduing mudra against each other. In this way, all evil spirits will be bound. The mudra called "Middle Finger Vajra Indication" involves touching the tips of the two middle fingers of the Vajra Subduing mudra and indicating, thus grasping the vows of all evil spirits. The mudra called "Washing and Quickly Releasing the Mudra" involves washing the area seized by evil spirits with the Vajra Subduing mudra and then quickly releasing the mudra, so that all evil spirits will be completely pacified. The mudra called "Fingers Joined as Vajra Topknot" involves perfectly joining the tips of the index finger and thumb of the Vajra Subduing mudra, and then holding the mudra towards the topknot of the object to be accomplished, thus protecting all things seized by evil spirits.
