Having taken it from the fire, one should bind the directions with it. Having made the mudra in the manner of binding the directions, one will be able to bind the directions with this, making the appearance of blazing flames in all directions. Even the great wrathful one's blazing vajra mandala is not allowed to enter, thus spoke the Bhagavan Great Vajradhara. The letter བཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, vam, water) and the two fists of the wrathful one, these two will thoroughly establish the samaya of Vajrasattva and so forth. If one repeats those two fists of the wrathful one and བཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, vam, water) and accomplishes the siddhi of Vajrasattva and so forth, in that way one will accomplish the siddhi of Vajrasattva and so forth. The third day, the fourth day, and recurring and constant, and all pervasive epidemics, should be understood from the treatises on medicine. The term "elimination" means that those are definitely eliminated from the patient's continuum. How does that happen? It is said that one is separated from the epidemic disease by the vajra dance. This is its characteristic: by eliminating with the vajra gaze of the consort, the third day, the fourth day, the recurring and constant diseases are not eliminated. By circling immeasurably, the indistinguishable target will be pacified. This is what is being taught: Likewise, having performed the union of glorious Vajrasattva, raising the two middle fingers of the central vajra, not binding the consort Vajra Mother as a sprout, one should gradually grasp with that, and also eliminate with a loving gaze, and the Bhagavan Ushnishavijaya should also, starting from the outside of the patient's body and going all the way to the soles of the feet, be visualized as filling everything. In that way, one will be separated from the third day, the fourth day, the recurring and constant epidemics. The pervasive epidemic will be separated by immeasurably pervading and circling. Transgressions are mental suffering. Harm is great scrofula and so forth. Diseases are scabies and so forth. Sorrow is merely what is known in the world. Experiencing harm to the body and so forth is suffering. These distinctions are established in order to make them disappear. What is the meaning of this? It is said that the suffering of the vajra dance is pacified. Therefore, explain this characteristic.

Furthermore, with two vajra fists, the two little fingers are connected like iron hooks. At the time of action, the tips of the crossed fingers are placed at the heart. Squeeze the fingertips, or place them in the mouth, or reverse them, and place them at the space between the eyebrows. These mudras indicate this meaning. Similarly, perform the union of glorious Vajrasattva, forming two vajra fists. The two little fingers are connected like iron hooks, and the tips of the two crossed fingers are placed towards the heart of oneself and others. Recite the mantra, and contemplate that Vajrasattva fills the body to be accomplished, and is endowed with all bliss and mental happiness. In this way, all downfalls will be pacified. Similarly, having done everything, act with that very mudra. Contemplate that the hands of the Bhagavan also pervade the body to be accomplished in the same way. In this way, all harm will be pacified. Similarly, having done everything, squeeze the patient with the tips of the two fingers. Contemplate that the ushnisha of the Bhagavan also pervades the patient's body. In this way, all diseases will be destroyed. Similarly, having done everything, place the mudra in the mouth in the manner of arrangement, act with the mind, and together with the patient's body. In this way, the one to be accomplished will obtain the bliss and mental happiness of Vajrasattva, and will be separated from all sorrow. Similarly, having done everything, completely reverse that mudra, place it at the space between the eyebrows, and contemplate that the Bhagavan Vajrasattva pervades the one to be accomplished. In this way, all suffering will be destroyed. All poisons mixed with poison, whether approaching, subduing, eating, binding, or transforming into nectar, are only for understanding. By whom are all these done? It is said that they are done by the near poison of the vajra dance. Regarding this, its characteristic is: vajra binding, the two little fingers connected, with the third banner, urging and gathering in the manner of vajra joy.

And, striking the vajra, holding with cupped hands, drinking the vajra. Thus it is taught, thus having made the union of Vajrasattva, below all poison and combined poison, from yaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:यं,梵文罗马拟音:yaṃ,汉语字面意思:Yaṃ) arises the mandala of wind, above that from raṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Raṃ) arises the mandala of fire. Above that, visualize the syllable hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) blazing with light, agitated everywhere. Bind the third banner with both hands, and make the two little fingers in a manner of great delight. By that also, the fire mandala ignited by the wind mandala, together with hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), contemplate the poison or combined poison as dry wood burning nearby. In that way, all poison and combined poison will become nearly ablaze. If the two little fingers are drawn together in a manner of gathering with the mind, then all poison and combined poison will be bound. Likewise, if the two little fingers are made in a manner of striking, then all poison and combined poison will be bound by the rings of the senses. On the tongue, visualize a white vajra from hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), and on that, visualize the syllable hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) with light blazing like the color of the moon, and with the cupped hands of the two third banners, act in a manner of dispelling all poison and combined poison, and also eat the poison and combined poison. From the syllable vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:Vaṃ), above the combined poison, on the support of the water mandala, visualize the moonlight emanating from the syllable hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), and contemplate that the poison and combined poison have been transformed into nectar by the syllable hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ). With the two hands of the third banner making cupped hands, act in a manner of drinking. In that way, it will become transformed into nectar. To subdue all demons, to bind, to cause to enter into vows, to thoroughly tame and protect, is merely to understand. How does that happen? By liberation from the demons of the vajra dance. Its characteristics are: the two fingers of the vajra knot are bent, and the two thumbs are raised and separated, making a bared teeth gesture, which is the mudra of Vajra Yaksha. With that, gently strike the palms of the hands, squeeze the fingertips, bind the middle finger in a vajra knot, shake and quickly release the mudra, and make the remaining fingers into a vajra topknot. With this, it is taught
