Having thus worshiped oneself, one should hold the vajra with that very reality. Always, anger arises from desire. For the sake of subduing it with Vajrasattva, the vajra, blazing like fire, is the essence of great terror. This is the very reality. Everything is the nature of space, but even space has no nature. The yogi, equal to space, quickly accomplishes all these things. This is the Dharma; with this, one should ring the bell. Then, having blessed this as the great mudra of commitment, repeating "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), all are united with the supreme space. Speaking of all as space, sealing with the vajra mudra, one should also consume the three realms. This is the commitment. Then, having prostrated to the Bhagavan and recited mantras, verse: sealing with the vajra mudra, one should also consume the three realms. Also, having received the prophecy from the Bhagavan and also blessing oneself, etc., having recited and prostrated, one should say this: I, named so-and-so, the Vajra Acharya, a great ascetic, for the benefit of all sentient beings, will initiate disciples. Then, one should initiate the disciples; this is the ritual of the Acharya's activity. Then, for those who are suitable to be given one's own vows, in the manner previously explained, one should have them take the commitments and have them generate the mind of enlightenment. In their hearts, one should generate the vajra in the same way, bless it as the vajra Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), and offer incense and flowers, etc. Having taken the supreme offering, facing the east gate, one should empower with the vase that is in place, and initiate them with the ritual of self-entry. One should follow all the rituals. The extensive ritual of initiating disciples, etc., is complete. The vajra is the vajra family; its mandala is the vajra mandala. Thus, having extensively explained the ritual of the Acharya's activity and the ritual of initiating disciples, etc., now, for those who have obtained commitments and empowerment, the Acharya should teach the wisdom of accomplishment. In order to show the meaning of this, he spoke of the subsequent practice, etc. There, one should first approach on cloth.

And other practices are (referring to) drawing the Bhagavan on cloth, etc., which is exactly what he (refers to). Do everything as before, and with the vajra writing mudra, recite and begin "Hūṃ" (ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), and with the mandala's ritual, depict or invite all the worldly and transworldly deities. Then, for the great practice as well, it is the same. Similarly, "Similarly, the supreme accomplishments" refers to the ritual spoken of in the chapter on Vajrasattva, either accomplishing Buddhahood itself, or practicing the state of Vajradhara here, that is its meaning. Therefore, it is said, "Similarly, for the supreme accomplishments." "After doing it on cloth as the Bhagavan is," refers to, with the previously explained ritual, depicting the Bhagavan Vajra Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) as the sole hero. "In front of it, bind the mudra with both hands, and recite a hundred thousand times" refers to binding the mudra of the three realms' victory with both hands. Then, etc., is easy to understand. This is how it is taught: Do the yoga of glorious Vajra Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), and after doing it as blessing me, etc., bind the samaya mudra, and after entering the mandala, starting from the full moon, through daily yoga, recite for about a month, and it becomes having done the preliminary approach. Then, on the full moon, according to the way it is said, emanate the mandala of the Bhagavan Vajra Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) on cloth, offer the offerings first, and with Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) place it in its own place, starting from the vajra writing mudra, and afterwards as convenient, either the mandala's ritual, or depict the Bhagavan sole hero, or invite it here. Then, starting from the full moon, through the yoga of blessing me, etc., invite the Bhagavan to reside on the cloth in the mandala's ritual, contemplate it as the great mudra, and through daily yoga, until the full moon of the second month arrives, practice with immeasurable recitation. Then, at that time, recite the name and mantra, then to the middle of the
