However one practices, it is fine. From whichever sense faculty and whichever source it arises, make it the essence of that. For the union that is not equally placed, accomplish it as your own deity. By applying this very union, having accomplished all these, everything is the reality of Vajrasattva. By constantly beholding it, accomplishment will swiftly occur. It is said that if one becomes weary from meditating on the union that is extremely equally placed, and wishes to abide by the union that is not equally placed, then at that time, with the great mudra, place the Bhagavan Vajrasattva in one's own position. First, bless oneself once with the first vajra and abide, having done all activities, and then enter again. With that very first union, recite Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ, and absorb the Bhagavan into one's own body, bind the great mudra. Sit in the center and recite the hundred and eight names, and make offerings with the twelve kinds of mudras. Also, make offerings perfectly with the two. Then prostrate and meditate in that way. If the mudra becomes loose, or if one wishes to release oneself, then at that time, stabilize it with the hundred-syllable mantra. Whenever, whether it is the first session or the second session, one wishes to invoke the deity to descend, then at that time, praise and make offerings with the hundred and eight names, and make offerings of flowers and so forth, and make offerings with the twelve kinds of mudras, and also prostrate with the union of subsequent prostration with the vajra playful mudra, and also completely dedicate the roots of virtue for the sake of desired accomplishments, and release the mudras of glorious Vajrasattva and so forth from wherever and wherever they arise. Then, by releasing the samaya mudra, recite Vajra Muḥ. Then, with the vajra jewel mudra arising from the heart place, empower by abiding in the place of one's own empowerment, and bind the two fingers in the manner of binding a rosary, and likewise bind the armor. Then, Oṃ Vajra Ratna Abhiṣiñca (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ वज्र रत्न अभिषिञ्च, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra ratna abhiṣiñca, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om Vajra Jewel Empower) is the essence of empowering all mudras. Sarva Mudra Maitri Kuru Vara Ka Vace Na Vaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व मुद्र मैत्री कुरु वर क वचे न वं, Sanskrit Romanization: sarva mudra maitri kuru vara ka vace na vaṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: All Mudra Loving-kindness Make Excellent Ka Armor Na Vaṃ) is the essence of binding the armor. For that, this mudra is this: bind the vajra-embracing mudra.
