Having bound the initial samaya mudra, recite: Om Sarva Samskara Pariśuddha Dharma Te Ga Gana Mugga Te Maha Naya Vari Vari Svaha. Drisya Jah Hum Vam Hoh. Samaya Hum. Samaya Tvam Aham. Om Sarva Samskara Pariśuddha Dharma Te Gana Sa Mugga Te Maha Naya Vari Bla Re Svaha. Having spoken thus, one should accomplish all the Buddhas of the Good Aeon. From Vairochana and so forth, the samaya mudras up to the Lotus Descent will be explained. The left hand of Maitreya and the other Buddhas of the Good Aeon should make the Tathagata fist, and with the right index and thumb, open from the little finger. The palm should be hollow; this is the samaya mudra. Thus, having accomplished Vairochana and so forth with the samaya mudras, seal them also with the Dharma, Karma, and Mahamudra. With the empowerment mudras, empower, and with all the offerings preceded by the offering of sustenance, offer correctly. To all clothes and ornaments, as well as umbrellas and victory banners, and various flags, as well as lotus yakshas and taming beings, recite the letter Om and offer. Then, a hundred or four flower trees, or to all the flower trees, offer the knowledge of flowers, then with the knowledge of lamps, lamps, with the knowledge of incense, incense, with the knowledge of burning incense, burning incense, and the knowledge of food offerings such as Akaro Mukham, and to all musical instruments, the knowledge of musical instruments, and hang up banners, and decorate with flower garlands and fly-whisks, and adorn with nets and half-nets, and beautify with half-moons, and also offer horses and elephants, and herds of cows that have been carefully selected. Oṃ, visualize filling the entire expanse of space with the seven precious substances and all the branches of offering. Recite: Oṃ sarva vitpūra pūra sura sura āvartaya āvartaya hoḥ oṃ vajra spharaṇa khaṃ. Then, form the gesture of joined palms in reverence and offer again. Again, offer all the mandalas perfectly with the four secret offerings, such as the lotus playfulness. After prostrating, the teacher, for the sake of all the accomplishments of the Blessed Ones, and for the benefit of all sentient beings, requests all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to accomplish this. Then, after praying according to the ritual described in the great Vajradhātu mandala, pay homage to all the Tathāgatas and ask for permission to admit disciples. I, named..., the lotus master who practices asceticism, for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, will admit disciples. This is the detailed ritual of the lotus master's activity. Then, saying, "The lotus disciples should be admitted," the teacher, at the time of the activity, later blesses the disciple into the form of taming beings. Then, the lotus disciples should be admitted. Among these, "first" means: before admitting the disciple. According to what has been said, the disciples of the lotus disciples are brought into the great mandala, the essence of the oath is given, and they are instructed thus: Now in your heart resides the lotus bodhisattva. And so on, by which the oath is taken. The so-called secret detailed ritual is: in the great mandala of taming beings, the forms of all the Tathāgatas are hidden. It is because the noble Avalokiteśvara abides in order to take care of the sentient beings to be tamed by the great Īśvara and others. The secret detailed ritual is one with various forms. Similarly, the detailed ritual of admission is also the secret detailed ritual, because it is not shown to those who do not understand the vows. Then, with this essence, the mudrā of the oath should be sealed, meaning: as previously stated, tie the upper and lower garments of the clothes, and also the face covering, and then make four hand gestures, outwards...
