And recite, contemplate yourself as the lord of all the Tathagatas, the master, Akashagarbha. Reciting like this for eight days will please the Ratna family. Adorn yourself with all the ornaments that correspond to the Ratna family, and practice all the rituals. Having thus explained how to please all the Tathagata families, now it is about making them free. Starting from "Then," etc., it is said that making them free is to make oneself and wealth, etc., free, meaning that it manifests due to following attachment and generates joy. "One should not despise attachment," where attachment is the attachment without self of phenomena. The attachment that matures and liberates sentient beings is the Bhagavan Great Vajradhara. One should not despise the nature of the Tathagata family, Vajrasattva. One should cultivate it with the intention of attaining Buddhahood and enlightenment, and manifest it without interruption. Why should one not despise it? Because the attachment without self of phenomena, free from the defilement of the grasper and the grasped, the attachment that matures and liberates sentient beings, awakens from the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, precisely for that reason. Such purity is giving. Just as one should not despise the one who possesses pure yoga, so it is also for the one who gives happiness. Because the yogi who manifests with that quality generates worldly and transworldly happiness, therefore this is the giver of happiness. "Practice for the benefit of all sentient beings," meaning that for all sentient beings, contemplating the Buddha, etc., is for the benefit of all sentient beings. With the yoga of the cause, "This makes the Buddhas free," meaning that here, the merit and wisdom of contemplating the nature of desire, and the practice for the benefit of all sentient beings, is what makes the Buddhas free, that is, with that yoga, one makes the Buddhas free. This is what is being taught, that is, the yoga of the Tathagatas.

After that, abide in the subsequent samadhi, and from Vajrasattva onwards, meditate with the union of just the image of the mandala such as the ultimate Vajradhatu of Vajra Descent. All sentient beings should be generated as the nature of the form of the Buddha and so on. In that way, the Tathagata will be able to control. "The nature of showing desire and happiness." This refers to the desire of the Tathagatas such as Vajrasattva. Because it is said, "Bhagavan desires the Bodhisattva," therefore, that is the nature of the Tathagata's lineage. The Bhagavan Vajrasattva showing is meditation. The nature of happiness is mental happiness. "Surata stvam (सुरत स्त्वं, Sanskrit Devanagari; surata stvaṃ, Sanskrit Romanization; Pleasant You Are)" refers to the essence of urging that very nature, repeating and accomplishing it. How to accomplish it? It is said, "If that very nature is urged, then empowerment will occur." By saying "Surata stvam (सुरत स्त्वं, Sanskrit Devanagari; surata stvaṃ, Sanskrit Romanization; Pleasant You Are)" of that very nature, it means Vajrasattva is in control. The meaning of that is shown like this: With the subsequent union mentioned earlier, cultivate the subsequent union, and make it manifest with the mind. With "Surata stvam (सुरत स्त्वं, Sanskrit Devanagari; surata stvaṃ, Sanskrit Romanization; Pleasant You Are)" urge until the Bhagavan appears as if directly visible. After that, if you meditate on the mandala and so on in the order of names, you will definitely achieve it. The Buddha's word will be obtained. "Purifying sentient beings with the Buddha's word," this has already been said. "Giving protection to embodied beings" refers to sentient beings such as gods who do not possess Dharma, and fierce and evil sentient beings such as asuras, killing them is the meaning of giving protection. "For the sake of protecting the Buddha's teachings," refers to the words of the Buddha's teachings, if any sentient being slanders them and prevents learning, and praises the treatises of worldly Lokayata and so on, and destroys monasteries, monks, nuns, the sacred Dharma, and so on, killing those who are fierce and evil like that is protecting the Buddha's teachings.

"If killing also becomes control." This means that if a yogi of the Vajra family kills without hatred and for the benefit of others, he will control the Vajra family and become independent. This is what it means: By practicing the samadhi that follows the Vajra family in the manner described above, and then killing the wicked with mudras and mantras, one will be able to control one's own Vajra family. The Padma family is naturally pure, "Pure desire is all conceptualization." This means to meditate. How? It says, "The lotus petals should open," and so on. The left hand takes the lotus with a proud gesture, and the index finger and thumb of the left hand open the lotus petals at the heart and meditate. Just like a red lotus, "Just as it is not stained by the fault of color, if you meditate on everything as pure, you will not be stained by the fault of sin." That's what it means. Thus, what will happen by meditating on the purification of desire, opening the lotus petals? If the yogi himself meditates on the desire of the Padma family, he will generate desire for the realm of sentient beings such as Buddhas. Why? It says, "For the sake of taming," because by accomplishing the samadhi of the Padma family, both oneself and others can be tamed by it. "If you desire, you will be able to control." This means that oneself or others, this pure meditation of desire, is what controls the Padma family. The meaning of this is as follows: With the ritual described above, meditate on the samadhi that follows the Padma family, and by the means of opening the lotus petals, transform the realm of sentient beings such as the Tathagatas into the Lord of the World, until the appearance of it is obtained. Then, with the ritual of accomplishment, meditate on the name mantra, and it will be accomplished. "For the sake of empowering all Buddhas." And so on, just like before, meditate on the samadhi that follows the Ratna family, and each day with the Vajra Precious mudra, give the empowerment of the precious sprout to the realm of sentient beings such as the Tathagatas, and then the jewel.
