It is single-minded focus on the guru. The word "ni" is to be taken as definite. The samadhi of Vajrasattva is, the dharmata intention of the Buddhas. This is its meaning. From Vairochana and so on to the ultimate Amoghasiddhi, it is said to be the cause of generating the Tathagatas. Why? Because it is said, "This is Buddha, the nature of Buddha." It means that because this Buddha Bhagavan is the cause of Buddhahood. From where does this itself come? Because it is said, "From others there is no becoming Buddha." Because the samadhi of Vajrasattva can become Buddha, and cannot become other, therefore, the samadhi of Vajrasattva is, the dharmata intention of the Buddhas. Some say that the great mudra of Vajrasattva is, the form of the great mudra, single-minded focus is the samadhi of Vajrasattva itself, it is the cause of becoming Buddha. Others do not think so, because, the Bhagavan previously said, "Whatever great self-mastery, whatever mudra is bound, for the meaning of the mantra of recitation, there one should meditate on self-nature." Also, in the Tantra of the Accomplishment Mudra of All Tathagatas, it says, "Having remembered the Tathagata, having bound the Buddha mudra, also showing the Buddha Bodhi, practicing will quickly accomplish." It means that one will obtain it immediately. Furthermore, with the four mudras of one's own deity, such as the great mudra, one should practice with the pride of one's own deity, this refers to, having bound all the mudras, also in front of one's own deity, meditate on remembering the Buddha, after that, one will accomplish immediately. Therefore, one should bind the mudra of one's own deity, and meditate on the form of one's own deity. One should not only focus single-mindedly on the form of the great mudra of Vajrasattva. Those who meditate on the mudras of the Tathagatas, should not doubt that the vajra of the mind in one's own heart, called Vajrasattva, is only the form of the vajra of the mind.

Furthermore, it is said: That very Bhagavan is the great Bodhisattva. All minds are self-nature. The body, speech, and mind are vajra. The Bodhisattva is stable and self-born. The best of all Bodhisattvas is the Bodhisattva. Having meditated well on the vajra in the heart, it is known as Vajrasattva. The vajra dwells perfectly in this. Thus it is said. Its meaning is shown as follows: According to the method described earlier, the Tathagatas such as Vairochana are bound by the great mudra, or by the great mudra of samaya, dharma, and karma. On the moon in one's own heart, visualize a five-pronged vajra from Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,हुं,hūṃ,seed syllable). Place the essence in the center of it. One should meditate on the Tathagatas such as Vairochana, the self-nature of the Bodhisattva in the heart. Having meditated on the great mudra, all siddhis will be accomplished. It is said that yogis who wish to accomplish the siddhis of Vajrasattva and others should bind the great mudra, samaya, dharma, and karma mudras as they are, and accomplish them. One should meditate on the secret of the body of one's own deity, such as Vajrasattva, and manifest it again and again. It should be accomplished by taking recitation as the essence. Why? For what reason? Here it is said: This is the Tathagata family. Those as described. The supreme siddhi of Dharma-nature is obtained. In this sentence, the word "also" means that the Dharma-nature of all the Tathagatas and all families is this. By the method of the great mudra, also bind the supreme samaya, also accomplish all actions. In this sentence, all the samaya, dharma, karma, and great mudras described in the Vajra family are the nature of the samaya mudra, so it has been said. These are the supreme samayas of the Buddhas. By samaya, dharma, karma, and great mudras, all the actions of the Buddhas and others are accomplished and perfected. How is it accomplished? It is said: By the method of the great mudra. The union of the great mudra is the method of the great mudra. The union of all siddhis.

By the command of the Buddha, for the benefit of all sentient beings, having accomplished the Great Seal, Buddhahood is attained in this very life. Thus, that which has already been taught as the cause of the Great Seal, one will attain the Vajra Siddhi and the Siddhi of the Vajra family. This is what is being taught: By the union of the great Vajra family, whatever Great Seal Siddhi one desires to accomplish, such as the Mudra Siddhi of Samaya, Dharma, and Karma, one binds that corresponding Mudra, including the Great Seal. One should meditate and accomplish it solely through the union of meditating on the Great Seal. Teaching the Dharma of the Perfection of Wisdom is the Dharma Mudra. Uniting the four types of Mudras of the Padma family is the manner of the Dharma Mudra. By the manner of meditating on the Great Seal of taming beings, as previously explained, and the Mudras of Samaya, Dharma, and Karma, one expresses and meditates on the Dharma Mudra, this is the concluding word. By what is it accomplished? "The actions of Vajra Dharma, by this, the Dharmata is accomplished." Thus it is said, that is, by this union of meditating on the Dharma Mudra itself. When, by the nature of the Great Seal and so forth, the Holy Avalokiteshvara directly expresses the Dharma Mudra, why does the union of meditating on the Dharma Mudra enter into the Dharma Mudra? "The Dharmas of Vajra Dharma, by this, the Dharmata is accomplished." Thus it is said, because the cause of generating this Dharma is the Perfection of Wisdom, and the Vajra Dharma is the Holy Avalokiteshvara. This is what is being taught: The four forms of the Great Seal and so forth of the Vajra Padma family should be meditated upon as being like illusions, naturally completely pure. The Mudra that shows the activity of fulfilling all the wishes of all sentient beings by the nature of empowerment and so forth is the Karma Mudra, that is, all the Mudras such as the Great Seal of the Ratna family. By its union, the Great Seal of the Ratna family and so forth.
