Descent, known as touching and not touching, refers to holding a sword or other object in the hand, or not touching it with the hand but looking at it with the eyes, and causing it to descend there. It involves invoking one's own deity, another deity, or a yaksha, or any other deity, with words and mantras. Whatever the practitioner focuses on will descend. Descent also refers to the practice of a powerful practitioner making swords and other objects leap into the sky and making them speak. From these objects, sounds indicating good or bad omens will arise. If the practitioner is less powerful, the ritual of descent will only cause shaking or trembling. If the descent occurs on a sword, mirror, or thumb, the resulting changes will also appear in the reflection. The hand gestures for descent will be explained below. Pacification is done with the syllable Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽). Lifting from the hair refers to a person who has been poisoned. Oh! If there is treasure there, then water and fertilizer will flow to the ground. If there is no treasure there, then the water and fertilizer will not flow, but will stagnate there. The places below refer to going to underground places such as the caves of Asuras. When going there, make the vajra underground mudra, and recite the heart mantra "Vajra Hum" (藏文：རྡོ་རྗེ་ཧཱུཾ།，梵文天城体：वज्र हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：vajra hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Diamond Hum), and entering the cave will destroy the illusory wheels and all obstacles that obstruct the way, thereby becoming free from obstacles. In front of Vajrapani refers to jewels, gems, vajras, and so on. Attracting enjoyment refers to reciting a hundred thousand times. If you want to have the five kinds of enjoyment, then aim for that purpose and recite the mantra of Om Sumbha (藏文：ཨོཾ་སུམྦྷ།), and you will be able to attract it. The mudra of the vajra hook of attraction refers to any sentient being, or when attracting from a distance, make the mudra of the vajra hook of attraction, and recite the mantra mentioned above in three periods for four months. Mudra refers to starting from what appears below, and also using the name of the mudra to refer to those that are easy to say. Those that are not easy to say immediately, the characteristics of the mudra will be explained together below, please understand from there. Subduing water refers to making the vajra knot mudra, visualizing the water as vajra and reciting, you will not sink and can walk. Subduing fire refers to making it without the power to be burned. Protecting crops refers to the vajra eye, meaning that if you demarcate and expel with the vajra eye, then insects and other things that harm the crops will not appear there, and horses and other livestock will not cross that boundary. The vajra eye will be explained below. Avoiding striking refers to if someone intends to strike others with fists or sticks, looking with a wrathful gaze will transfer it to others. All ferocious beasts refers to the general name for all venomous beings such as ferocious beasts, wrathful ones, and poisonous snakes. Making all thieves faint refers to making it impossible for thieves to search. Liberation from war refers to making the mudra of Vajradhara and reciting the above mantra, you will not make mistakes due to the faults of war. Bows and arrows, etc., are the mudra of Vajra Humkara.
