Thus it is said. How does that wisdom arise? By meditating in the Mahamudra, also generating eye consciousness, thus it is said. It is said in this way: a yogi of the Tathagata lineage meditates in the Mahamudra, generating the Mahamudra. According to the order as spoken, first, practice meditating on the Vajra Subtle, making it stable through habit. Then, bless it with the blessing of truth, and in the manner previously described, focus the mind one-pointedly. In whatever body or direction, past, future, virtuous, or non-virtuous, desiring to know any form, in that body or direction, the senses are equal, and that direction with its appearance, and the mind that grasps form, all make them manifest. In this way, meditate on the aggregates of causes for the arising of eye consciousness, generate eye consciousness, correspond with appearance, and the form is extremely clear, only think of seeing it as directly perceived. However, by the nature of reality, if the aggregates of causes are manifestly meditated upon, even if the yogi has not attained accomplishment, the result of that consciousness will arise through the power of meditation. Even in the yogi's dream, the dream will show the truth of what is seen. Therefore, whatever one thinks of, even the extremely distant will be seen. As it is said, such eye consciousness, if one thinks of anything with it, meaning with the mind, in any body or direction, thinking of the past, future, or present form. Even the extremely distant will be seen. This is connected to the term 'eye consciousness.' The word 'also' means that even if it is nearby but obstructed by a screen, or obscured by a wall or darkness, or by nature, even if it is a kalpa, it will be seen as if it were nearby. Who said that such seeing occurs? The Bhagavan Vajrasattva said it. Now, 'meditating in the Mahamudra,' etc., shows the direct perception of the divine ear. 'Meditating in the Mahamudra' is the same as before. Here too, it is the same as the order mentioned in the chapter on the miraculous eye. Here, the manifestation of ear consciousness is just that the sound is different. The so-called "by this" means that whatever needs are thought of by ear consciousness, even if they are located very far away, they can be heard. This is what the Blessed One Vajradhara said. Now, the supernormal knowledge of knowing the minds of others is explained by "Mahamudra" and so on. "Meditating in Mahamudra" means focusing the mind on one point. The so-called "observing any sentient being" means that if you want to know the mind of any sentient being through the consciousness focused on one point, then you should make a definite observation of that sentient being, that is, you must manifest and observe it definitely. The so-called "his mind can be known by him" refers to the symbol of approaching wisdom, meaning that he can know the mind of that sentient being. That is to say, from what I see and know about the state of body and mind, and how my body and mind think and understand, I know that this person's body is like this, and this person's mind is also like this. This is temporarily a method for beginners to understand the minds of others, but for yogis, those who are very proficient through practice will give rise to the same mind as the other person's mind because they are dominated by the other person's mind. Therefore, when accomplished yogis predict the minds of others from the way they experience their own minds, that prediction will come true, and the realm of meditation of meditators is inconceivable. Therefore, in order to explain that necessity, it is said that understanding the minds of others is immeasurable. It is necessary to understand this definitely. Now, the supernormal knowledge of remembering past lives is explained by "Mahamudra" and so on. "Meditating in Mahamudra" means abiding in Mahamudra, practicing Vajra Subtle diligently according to the practice method described above, and if you want to know your own or others' past lives, you should live in a quiet place, focus your mind on one point, and be true.

Having blessed it, from the time I remember the Dharma of the nature of my own merit, which has the characteristics of merit, by the truth of all those things that have been done, by the truth of the Buddha, by the truth of the Dharma, by the truth of the Sangha, and by the truth of those who speak the truth, may the life that I or this sentient being has experienced in past lives appear without distortion in this state where my mind is focused, just as it was. Having thus blessed it with truth, the yogi should examine my or another's form with his mind. If examined in this way, that previous life will now be known by him here; this is the past form, meaning that it will now be known at this time. Because the seeds experienced by the previous body and now present in the stream of consciousness, that yogi, by the power of meditation, ripens the seeds of memory, and the previous form appears on the body of that yogi himself or other sentient beings, because it is similar to those who speak the truth. This is the superknowledge of remembering previous abodes, and it will also occur to those who have not attained yoga and have not attained meditation. Who said that? It was said by the Bhagavan Vajrapani. Now, the ritual of miraculous powers, which shows the superknowledge: Having bound the great mudra, it is the same as before. Whatever miraculous power is desired? Miraculous power is increase, meaning that it shows the great power of the nature of the wealth of the mind. To walk in the sky, to become invisible, to show various forms, to pass through obstacles, to quickly go to prosperous places, the sky, and distant places, and to transform and transmute external objects, such as turning clay into gold, and to bless unstable things so that they may last for a long time, etc., showing the ability to have these natures is miraculous power. Therefore, it is said: Whatever miraculous power is desired? Where
