Because it is the method of attaining enlightenment. The term "unsurpassed" is used because it is far superior to the conduct of the Sutra school. The term "secret of all Tathagatas" is used because this is the Tathagata, so it belongs to all Tathagatas. Because others do not know it, it is a secret. "Mahayana Abhisamaya," the term "yana" (vehicle) is used because one travels by it. Because it is the vehicle of the great ones, it is the Mahayana. It is the eleventh bhumi (stage) with conduct based on faith, and traveling by it is the twelfth bhumi, the Samantabhadra bhumi. Both of these are called Mahayana, and the treatise that explains it is also called Mahayana. Because the essence of the Mahayana is collected and the order of manifest enlightenment is shown, it is called "Mahayana Abhisamaya." Because it is only briefly shown, it is the Sutra school. It should be known that it is a brief summary of a hundred thousand verse treatise. The term "this" refers to what was just said above. The term "well-spoken" is used because it is spoken without error. The term "collection of the suchness of all Tathagatas" is used because the suchness of all Tathagatas is also limited to this, such as the twelve bhumis. Because they are also gathered here, it is called "collection of the suchness of all Tathagatas." In the extensive commentary on the collection of suchness, the Ornament of Kosala, the commentary on the Great King of Illusions called "The Commitment of the Activity of All Tathagatas" is complete. Now, from this point onwards, whatever is a contributing factor to the attainment of the four types of mandalas, the four lineages, and the four types of mudras, whether small or large, is called "the latter part." Among them, the first chapter, starting from "Then, the great Bodhisattva Vajrapani," only temporarily shows the tantra of the supreme attainment of the first four mandalas belonging to the four eternities and the four mudras. The term "then" means after that, after the root tantra. Because it is a Bodhisattva of great enlightenment, it is a Bodhicitta.

He is the great hero. Because this one possesses Vajrapani, he is Vajrapani. The so-called "all Tathagatas" are both Tathagatas and all, so all Tathagatas are the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the mandala. The great suchness associated with them is both suchness and great, so it is great suchness, because it pervades everything. That is, like "every word is all mine," etc., as mentioned before. Its extensive ritual is the extensive aspect of "these should be done," that is, the treatise that explains it is the tantra of the extensive ritual. The so-called "this" refers to what is remembered in the heart. The so-called "said" means that he has revealed it. Among them, first is the explanation of the tantra of the great mudra's supreme accomplishment, the so-called "among them" is what must be grasped, from the four great mudras, the great mudra must be grasped. The word "first" is arranged in order. The great mudra is the mudra of the body. Its supreme accomplishment is to be accomplished as the Buddha and Bodhisattva themselves, and the treatise that explains it is the tantra. What is it then? It is explained by "the great mudra of the Tathagata," etc., that is, "binding the great mudra of the Tathagata," which refers to the arising of the great mudra of the Buddha through the order of individual thinking about the mind, etc. The so-called "the sphere of space is everywhere, the Buddha's body image is blessed," means that it is both the sphere of space and everything, so it is the sphere of space everywhere, in the vastness of space, whether it is the moving or the still dust, all the extremely fine dust, that's all. Among them, moving refers to running on the path of space. Stillness refers to belonging to oneness, etc., all of which appear as the sphere of space, wanting to bless the Buddha's body image in those spheres of space is to particularly believe in the image of the Buddha. Then what should be done? It is said, "Put it in your own heart."
