In order to understand clearly, it is shown in this way: Firm and pleasing, extremely pure. This is to say that first observing the characteristics of one's own mind, being stable, the mind that realizes the selflessness of persons and phenomena, because it cannot be destroyed by demons and heretics, is called firm. Because it has perfected the two great accumulations, it is called pleasing. Because its nature is free from the two obscurations, it is called extremely pure. That is also like being similar to space, so it is said: Equal to space. Because it is free from the imprints of bad migrations, it is said: Liberated from all bad migrations. Liberated from bad migrations, and having eliminated the conceptualizations obscured by antidotes, it shows the elimination of conceptualizations. Because of hearing the two, seeing first, it is said: Appearing like the moon, therefore becoming excellent, so it is called excellent. Merely the characteristic of the exhaustion of the defilements of afflictions, so it is said: All afflictions and defilements are pure. The Bodhicitta that is pure from the defilements of afflictions, and the essence of selflessness, seen like the moon, and seeing first from the two moons, so it is said: Appearing like the moon. Not abiding in peace like the Hearers, but arising from the essence of loving-kindness and compassion that realizes the nature of reality, so it is said: Arising from loving-kindness and compassion. Not for the sake of taming oneself alone, so it is said: Benefiting sentient beings. That great Bodhicitta that benefits sentient beings, appearing like the moon. Because it is free from stains, so it is said: The great Bodhicitta is extremely pure. The Bodhicitta is completely pure, the wisdom mind that is the cause of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, possessing the nature of the fruit, without the faults of defects, so it is said: Buddha Bodhi without defects. Because it has perfected the qualities of the completely pure aspects such as the grounds and perfections, so it is said: All the virtuous aspects are completely perfected. Merely by the nature of being free from afflictions, so it is said: All afflictions are completely liberated. The Dharmadhatu that is difficult to be penetrated by other things, or arising from becoming dense by perfecting the two accumulations, therefore seeing it abiding in its center like a full moon.

In the center of Gapo is a great moon. This is called (In the center of Gapo is a great moon). Because it is outside of the stacked moons that arise from Bodhi, therefore, the Bodhi mind is second. This is called (The Bodhi mind is second). One countless kalpa, the second moon mandala arises from the attainment of achieving unsurpassed Bodhi in three countless kalpas, therefore, it is attained by achieving Bodhi in three countless kalpas, this is called (Attained by achieving Bodhi in three countless kalpas). Powers and fearlessness, and non-mixture, etc., are more sacred than outsiders, and are the pinnacle of the lower ones, therefore, the sacred and immeasurable supreme Dharma. This is called (The sacred and immeasurable supreme Dharma). For the benefit of beings, I practice and show others, and cause others to practice, it is the best among all those called speakers. The moon is that which appears like the moon, therefore, practice is the best practice. This is called (Practice is the best practice). The Tathagatas and the Shravakas and heretics, etc., all the lands that appear to the part examined by the wisdom of conceptualization with different views, and the non-lands, are all known by wisdom, therefore, the land and the non-land are completely known. This is called (The land and the non-land are completely known). Because it is separated from the two obscurations, therefore, there is no obscuration with pure wisdom. This is called (There is no obscuration with pure wisdom). For the moon that is complete with such qualities, contemplate the essence of wisdom, the vajra of the heart's seal abides, this is called (In the center of the moon mandala). Contemplate the five-pronged vajra abiding, this is called (The form of the vajra should be seen). That is the vajra that abides in the nature of the five wisdoms from the bodies of all Buddhas and images, it is the nature of the Dharmakaya, therefore, it is the nature body of all Buddhas. This is called (It is the nature body of all Buddhas). There, the nature is invisible, and it does not reside in any direction, therefore, there is no appearance and no abode. This is called (There is no appearance and no abode). It is not born from causes and conditions, nor is it made by agents such as Ishvara and Vishnu, because it is the characteristic of naturally pure obscurations, therefore, it is neither unborn nor unmade. This is called (It is neither unborn nor unmade). Because it is separated from all extremes such as existence and non-existence, therefore, it abandons existence and non-existence. This is called (It abandons existence and non-existence). It cannot be cut by weapons, etc., it cannot be destroyed by the evil views of heretics, etc., it cannot be burned by fire.
