There is no fault in doing this for the purpose of placing (the mandala). For example, just as the Tathagatas benefit beings with pure worldly wisdom while focusing on non-discrimination. The sequence of binding mudras, etc., will also be explained as follows: First, the joining of the hands should be done. First, in the palm of the right hand, on top of the solar mandala arising from the letter "མ་", the letter "ཧཱུཾ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) should be placed. In the palm of the left hand, on top of the lunar mandala arising from the letter "ཊ་", the letter "ཨ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) should be placed. From these two, one should contemplate the vajra and bell as the essence of method and wisdom. Similarly, on the fingers as well, one should contemplate the solar mandala, and on top of it, the seed syllables of each of the families and family mothers, such as "ཨོཾ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) and "ཧཱུཾ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), should be placed in order, believing them to be the essence of method and wisdom, and then the hands should be joined in prayer. So, why is it shown in such a way? What would happen if it were not done? It is said: For example, just as worldly beings are born and arise dependent on two parents, similarly, the Tathagatas appear in the world dependent on the father's skillful means and the mother's perfection of wisdom, not by themselves or by chance. Similarly, their wisdom mudras are also accomplished in such a way, so in order to generate and increase the mudras, one should transform and focus in this way. This is the characteristic of the vajra prayer gesture, the basis from which all mudras arise. Therefore, it is also said in the tantra: "The palms are tightly joined, the vajra prayer gesture gives instructions." "ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨཉྫ་ལི་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं वज्र अञ्जलि, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra añjali, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Anjali) is its mantra, the vajra prayer gesture is the mother. "ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་བནྡྷ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं वज्र बन्ध, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra bandha, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Bandha) is the mantra of vajra binding, which is the father. "ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་བནྡྷ་ཏྲཊ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं वज्र बन्ध त्रट्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra bandha traṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Bandha, Trat) is the mantra of vajra release, which is the son. Even a single release completely eliminates all sins. Releasing towards the heart with sound means that on the thangka of the heart, this mantra, along with the mudra and sound, is released three times, contemplating the purification of the obscurations of the alaya consciousness and the lower realms. Reciting three times is for my...

Although the essence of mind is naturally pure, it is covered and obscured by sudden, artificial stains and dust of afflictions, remaining in an undesirable state. Firstly, by liberation, those accumulated in the past are cleared away. Secondly, those accumulated in this present life are completely cleared away. Thirdly, those to be accumulated and done in the future are cleared away. This is the meaning of clearing away and exhausting all afflictions and obscurations of the three times. Thus, after all obscurations have been exhausted, it becomes a suitable place for all the wisdom of the three times. It is said, "Then bind the vajra entering mudra," etc., in order to empower the introduction of wisdom into that place. There are two types of introduction: The so-called introduction of wisdom refers to inviting and merging all the wisdom of the Buddhas of the three times into that place where the obscurations of the three times have been exhausted, and visualizing it as extremely radiant. The so-called introduction of the great mudra refers to summoning the subtle bodies of the Tathagatas, which fill the essence of space, and allowing them to enter the place of the self-nature body where obscurations have been exhausted, thereby transforming into the self-nature of completely pure wisdom and body. If this is not done, what fault will there be? It is said: If one enters the vast conduct of the noble ones without doing so, because one's own body lacks blessings, obstacles and the like will enter and obstruct. If this is done, then when striving for the work to be accomplished, the obstacle of hindrances will not be able to stand in the way. Oṃ Vajra Āveśa Ā Ā Ā (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨ་བེ་ཤ་ཨ་ཨ་ཨ་,梵文天城體:,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ vajra āveśa ā ā ā,漢語字面意思:嗡,金剛,進入,啊,啊,啊) is the mantra for introduction. Thus, after exhausting afflictions and obscurations, and introducing wisdom and mudra, making oneself radiant, the sequence of practice through samadhi is explained. After that, there is the characteristic of abiding in equanimity, such as examining one's own mind. One should have faith in the complete perfect enlightenment of all the Tathagatas, and bless oneself as the body of the Tathagatas, etc. The so-called "after that" refers to what should be done immediately following the preliminary preparations like those mentioned above.
