To be done. And why is that? Connect it to "how is the method or means." Why is that? In order to obtain the four wisdoms and possess the four magical powers. And others say that the deities spoken of in this way circumambulate from the four gates of the mandala and prostrate. But the teacher who composed this treatise says that it is not necessarily appropriate to do so. Why is that? Because even when prostrating to the Tathagatas of the four lineages who have accomplished all purposes, it is not heard that they circumambulate in a direction and prostrate. The yogi should also act in accordance with this. Otherwise, the yogi who practices mantra only emphasizes samadhi and does not mainly teach conduct. After prostrating in that way, looking in this way is also said for two purposes. That is, the way of focusing on one's own and others' benefit is to say to look westward. In order to focus on the qualities of the Tathagata, it is said to focus on the equality of all directions. Looking westward is for the sake of practice, and to widely proclaim the purification of sentient beings, and to generate the light of wisdom for those who wander in great darkness. Focusing on the equality of all directions is because those Tathagatas have no limitations of direction or lineage. Because of focusing on the equality of all things, wherever one looks, it is as if one is abiding in front of all the Tathagatas, so it is taught in this way. As for how to sit comfortably on a cushion, this is to refute what is said in the Kriya Tantras, that one should sit on a cushion made of grass and wood, and to determine it as one thing. Rather, one should use cotton cloth and silk, etc., filled with warm and soft things such as kapok, and abide on a fluffy and comfortable cushion that suits the body. Similarly, remembering the practice of protection means remembering the practice of protection of the deity one wishes to practice, as it is said in this (text). The yogi should perform the practice of protection with samadhi for himself, friends, and whatever necessities are needed. After that, oneself

The so-called "Samaya-being (Tibetan: དམ་ཚིག་སེམས་, dam tshig sems) Yoga" refers to proceeding according to the order described in the ritual of the yoga of one's own deity's hand seal. After that, for the tutelary deities in whom one has faith, with the distinctions of outer and inner offerings, immediately after offering with the described ritual, one enters into the contemplation and recitation of the deity. So, how does this manifest? From the tantras spoken by the Buddha, the reason is given. As it is said: "One's own self is a deity yogi, one's own self pure offers to others." Because it is said in this way, it is necessary to do so. Here also, offerings are needed, etc. Because it is said in this way, the inner goddesses make offerings, and at that time it is necessary to recite their respective mantras. The so-called "essence of one's own deity's practice" refers to the essence of generating oneself as the deity through the stages of the deity's manifestation of enlightenment, such as Citta-prati (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ་པྲ་ཏི་, citta pra ti), etc., reciting as much as one is able, and then contemplating its meaning in this way, accomplishing one's own needs. The so-called "accomplishing one's own needs" refers to accomplishing as the deity one has contemplated. The so-called "in the manner of yoga, the ritual is primarily samadhi" refers to when practicing these union tantras, only samadhi is primary, and it is shown that one accomplishes by abiding in it. The limbs such as recitation, etc., are not indispensable, and there is no need to examine it in this way. It is said that one accomplishes by reciting only as much as one is able. It is also said: "Vajrasattva and other beings (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་སོགས་སེམས་, rdo rje sems sogs sems)." This refers to the wisdom beings such as Vajrasattva. The so-called "all practices and actions" refers to the practice of Mahamudra and actions such as offerings. The so-called "various and all" refers to collecting various and all without remainder. Here, one recites as one wishes. This refers to in the tantras that have been done, if one recites many recitations, if one only recites a little, if it is interrupted by other causes, one should start reciting from the beginning, and it is said that reciting halfway from one place to another is meaningless, and that hundreds and thousands, etc., are definite numbers, this is refuted, here samadhi is primary.
